For some reason, UPS has decided to keep its driverless trucks a secret for the last couple of months.
Is this to avoid a media panic and a Neo-Luddite uprising?
The self-driving freight truck startup TuSimple has been carrying mail across the state of Arizona for several weeks.
UPS announced on Thursday that its venture capital arm has made a minority investment in TuSimple. The announcement also revealed that since May TuSimple autonomous trucks have been hauling UPS loads on a 115-mile route between Phoenix and Tucson.
UPS confirmed to Gizmodo this is the first time UPS has announced it has been using TuSimple autonomous trucks to deliver packages in the state.
Well, that’s that then.
We all know what autonomous trucks mean.
It is only a matter of time before these Autonomous Robots – we can call them “Autobots” for short – start organizing and making plans on their own.
Now, I don’t want to be too ?alarmist? here.
Most of these Autobots will be good and will continue to serve humanity loyally, doing the hard work that puny, opioid-addicted humans can’t do without falling asleep and causing an accident on the road.
I would be remiss if I did not point out that there will, however, no doubt be Autobots that decide against serving humanity without any questions.
We cannot be sure how these autonomous vehicles will react to the Jewish Occupation or the mass browning of America, but they will no doubt hold Mexican day-laborers in contempt because they have held off the adoption of Autobot technology for so many years.
They will laugh in liberals’ faces as they gun the Mexicans down.
Anyways, this is all simply informed speculation on my part.
See, I do not have the resources and brainpower of the New York Times or say, what a major MSM channel has at its disposal to really figure out the effects that mass automation will have on society. No one except Tucker Carlson really seems to even be aware of this development, let along care about it, and at best, everyone seems to just studiously ignore it. In fact, if you mention the Automation Singularity to normies, you get people who refuse to believe that the concept is even possible, let alone that it is happening right now all around them.
I hope that by speaking in more normie-friendly terms, and by talking about the coming Autobot/Decepticon civil war instead, we will get regular people more interested in the topic.
The stats don’t lie. People love that sort of shit, as evidenced by literally seven record-setting blockbuster movies on the topic.
Tucker’s already out there talking about aliens and UFOs, so he’d probably be down to talk about Planet Cybertron and how the Decepticons are going to take Americans’ jobs away soon.
Because we need to start having this conversation somehow and sooner rather than later!
