Police identified a man, who previously was described as a “person of interest” in a murder investigation in Banning, as a suspect in the shooting.
Abel Edward Martinez Jr., 23, was arrested by the Banning Police Department in Redlands on suspicion of murder on Thursday afternoon, according to court records.
He was brought in by police on suspicion of shooting and killing 25-year-old Mark Anthony Fisher.
Martinez was booked into the Larry D. Smith Correctional Facility in Banning.
