Bibi Claims Ceasefire with Lebanon Incoming

Honestly, it’s not even worth talking about, other than to say “this is fake.”

If there is a ceasefire, it’s going to be temporary, and it’s because Israel is losing so badly and they need the kind of US support that only Trump can provide.

Israel is close to implementing a ceasefire in Lebanon, where the country has been waging a campaign against the political and militant group Hezbollah, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu announced on Tuesday.

Netanyahu made the remarks in a televised address following a meeting with his security cabinet. The ceasefire deal is almost ready, with only final approval from the government needed, he revealed. He did not provide any timeframe, stating only that “the duration of the ceasefire depends on what takes place in Lebanon.”

“With the full understanding with the US, we are maintaining full freedom of action” against Hezbollah, Netanyahu warned, promising to respond “with force” to every potential violation of the ceasefire.

“If Hezbollah violates the agreement and tries to rearm, we will attack,” he stressed. “If it tries to rebuild the terror infrastructure near the border, we will attack. If it fires a rocket, if it digs a tunnel, if it brings in a truck with missiles, we will attack.”

U.S. President Joe Biden said Tuesday the U.S.-proposed 60-day ceasefire deal between Israel and Hezbollah in Lebanon, which is “designed to be” permanent, will take effect at 4:00 a.m. Wednesday local time (2:00 a.m. GMT).

“Under the deal reached today, effective at 4 a.m. tomorrow local time, the fighting across the Lebanese-Israeli border will end,” Biden said in remarks delivered from the White House Rose Garden.

“This is designed to be a permanent cessation of hostilities. What is left of Hezbollah and other terrorist organizations will not be allowed,” he added.

“Over the next 60 days, Israel will gradually withdraw its remaining forces, and civilians on both sides will soon be able to safely return to their communities and begin to rebuild their homes,” Biden said.

Israel, the president said, “retains the right to self defense” in the event that “Hezbollah or anyone else” breaks the newly announced deal, which was approved by the Israeli cabinet on the same day.

The Biden people want to focus on the Ukraine right now, where they are trying to create a situation where Trump can’t end the war.

Trump, of course, has vowed to give “everything for Israel.”
