British companies which transferred jobs abroad are coming home, David Cameron declared today, as he launched a campaign to persuade other firms to follow suit.
Well done Britain for having such low paid workers that jobs can be shipped back from China and India…
Thank goodness the loyal peasants have learned their place and serve their masters well.
If the Brits don’t take the low paid re-shored jobs then the migrants will. So having seen that off-shoring had many unforeseen negative consequences they are enticing the companies back with tax avoidance possibilities and low paid workers. As in the case with Amazon, Google and Starbucks they get to use UK infrastructure without paying their fair share for its use, therefore it’ is salaried workers who are paying from their PAYE and VAT taxes for the privilege of being unscrupulously exploited. Meanwhile, the workers and small businesses (example: plumbers and electricians) that are already established here will see their earnings and salaries undercut by migrants who are prepared to work for less. No wonder the treasury was warning of insisting that companies not avoid taxation, may discourage investment in the UK. I can only say that economic growth at the expense of established inhabitants will cause long term negative consequences.
Good old Brittan, isn’t it good to know that we can undercut third world countries. Lets be honest, these companies went overseas to take advantage of really low wages and highly educated workers, now they are coming back here to take advantage of yes ,you got it, really low wages and semi educated workers – it’s really hard to know who to feel sad for, the countries losing work or the victims of the British education system –as a victim of the British education system I have empathy for both. If they are re on-shoring these jobs the question is what has DAVE promised and how bad is it going to be for the British?
