Cellphone “Addiction” is a Very Bad Behavior, But “Addiction” is a Total Hoax – How About Making Better Decisions?

Sorry, I do not believe in “addiction.” This is dumb retarded nonsense. There is something called “bad behavior” and another thing called “poor decision making.” We don’t need psychologists to explain this to us.

Just listen to Peter Hitchens.

“Addiction” is nonsense.

There is no proof that this thing exists.

It is disgusting that we have to use this term to talk about bad behavior.

People mess with their phones because they are anti-social, they don’t care about the people around them, and they decide to make selfish decisions.

I say this as someone who has had lifelong substance abuse problems. Since I was a teenager, I have engaged in [INSERT VARIOUS THINGS]. Why did I do this? Because I am an irresponsible person (sometimes) who (sometimes) makes bad decisions.

I did not have a “disease.” I was not compelled by something beyond my own consciousness. That is ridiculous. There is no evidence for this theory.

But, yes: people use their phones too much and that leads to further bad behavior.

These are personal decisions made by individuals who have free will.

The Guardian:

Young people with internet addiction experience changes in their brain chemistry which could lead to more addictive behaviours, research suggests.

The study, published in PLOS Mental Health, reviewed previous research using functional magnetic resonance imaging (fMRI) to examine how regions of the brain interact in people with internet addiction.

They found that the effects were evident throughout multiple neural networks in the brains of young people, and that there was increased activity in parts of the brain when participants were resting.

I actually do believe that repeated bad behaviors change your brain chemistry.

They change your soul, and what is your brain if not the body of your soul?

(The Hitchens debate above shows the brain scans. I agree with this. I’m not saying the scans are fake. But frankly, we do not understand the brain all that well. These “experts” don’t even admit souls exist – even while they support tranny theories that say souls are trapped in the wrong bodies.)

At the same time, there was an overall decrease in the functional connectivity in parts of the brain involved in active thinking, which is the executive control network of the brain responsible for memory and decision-making.

The research found that these changes resulted in addictive behaviours and tendencies in adolescents, as well as behavioural changes linked to mental health, development, intellectual ability and physical coordination.

Yeah, dude.

Bad behavior leads to further bad behavior.

Sometimes we call this “sin.” Using your phone too much is not actually a sin, but it is obviously a bad behavior, and bad behaviors – whether they are sins or not – lead to further bad behaviors.

Max Chang, the study’s lead author and an MSc student at the UCL Great Ormond Street Institute of Child Health (GOS ICH), said: “Adolescence is a crucial developmental stage during which people go through significant changes in their biology, cognition and personalities.

“As a result, the brain is particularly vulnerable to internet addiction-related urges during this time, such as compulsive internet usage, cravings towards usage of the mouse or keyboard and consuming media.

“The findings from our study show that this can lead to potentially negative behavioural and developmental changes that could impact the lives of adolescents. For example, they may struggle to maintain relationships and social activities, lie about online activity and experience irregular eating and disrupted sleep.”

Bad behavior leads to more bad behavior.

That is why we should engage in good behavior.

We should avoid all sins (insofar as we can) and also avoid all negative behaviors (insofar as we can).

No one ever said life was going to be easy.

In fact, life is the hardest thing ever.

The easiest thing ever is engaging in bad behaviors that make life appear less difficult.

In actual fact, bad behavior makes life much more difficult.

Being online all the time is a very bad behavior and it makes your life much worse.

I work online, so I’m online a lot.

But I do not own a cellular phone. I install all the apps on my laptop. If people want to meet me in real life, they have to arrange a time for the meeting, and then be there (or not). I don’t carry around my laptop like a cellphone.

When I am sitting alone in public, instead of looking at a phone, I either sit and think about my deranged ideas, or share those deranged ideas with strangers.

I’m not even recommending this as a life choice (though it is one way to live). But I would recommend that you not sit around on your phone all the time. It’s absurd, to live like this. There is a big, beautiful world out there, all around you, and sometimes beauty is found in the most unlikely of places.

My advice to everyone is always the same as it’s always been: keep it real.

“Touch grass” is a gay retarded meme, because the only people who would ever say that are “extremely online” persons who want to mock you for having the same problem as they have. You can touch grass or not – most of it in public places is sprayed with chemicals that cause hormonal disorders, penis shrinkage, and cancer.

But being in nature is a good idea. Being alone with your thoughts is a good idea. If it is painful to be alone with your thoughts – and if you have any bit of intelligence at all, it is extremely painful (can confirm) – then I would advise you to confront that pain, and to learn to love that pain.

When the pain of my thoughts becomes tough, I say:

Our Father who art in Heaven, hallowed by Thy Name. Thy Kingdom Come, Thy will be done, on earth, as it is in Heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us. Lead us not into temptation, and deliver us from evil. Amen.

And:

Jesus Christ, Son of God, have mercy on me, a sinner.

You can also say the Hail Mary. I do that sometimes, but have been doing it less, as I’ve come to believe that promoting it as the main prayer is a conspiracy to draw us away from Jesus. (That doesn’t mean there is anything wrong with it, or we shouldn’t say it, I’m just saying that if you are asking Mary for intervention more than you are asking Jesus for mercy, something has to have gone wrong. The Holy Mother would never want to distract us from Jesus Christ.)

Whether it is the masturbation or fornication (sins) or overindulgences in internet, alcohol, drugs, or anything else (potentially bad behaviors which can become sins if overdone), you need to understand that these are personal choices that you are responsible for, and you can change your life if you want to do so.

Do not believe this “addiction” bullshit. It is total nonsense. Clearly, the deeper you get into sin or other bad behavior, the harder it is to get out. It’s just a hole you are digging for yourself. But always take personal responsibility.

There are so many things in this world that you have no control over. You need to focus on the things you do have control over. In that, you will find peace.
