Gay? What is this gay of which you speak?

During an interview with David Scott for Real Sports HBO, Kadyrov reaffirms what his press secretary said earlier this year. Faggotry does not exist in Chechnya, and therefore gays don’t exist there either.

The questions asked by Scott come on the background of earlier reports that at least three men lost their lives because of their faggotry, and they suspect that many others have been extrajudicially killed. When asked for comments on this at the time, Chechen press secretary Alvi Karimov had the following statement for the Novaja Gazeta:

This article is a pure lie. You cannot detain and harass people who just simple do not exist here … This is just an attempt to tarnish the Chechnyan republic and furthermore it is fake news. If Chechnya had such a problem, then the police would not have been troubled by it because their relatives would have sent them to a place from which they would not be able to return.

When Scott brought up the alleged roundup, abduction and torture of gays in his republic, the president chuckled and said:

This is nonsense. We don’t have those kinds of people here, we don’t have any gays. If there are any, take them to Canada. Praise god. Take them far away from us so we don’t have them at home. To purify our blood, if there are any here, take them.

The interview is absolutely hilarious, watch the clips here:

Among other golden nuggets, Kadyrov confirms that he doesn’t consider the US strong enough to be an enemy of Russia and I quote:

We have a strong government and are a nuclear state. Even if our government was completely destroyed, our nuclear missiles would be automatically deployed. We will put the whole world on its knees and screw it from behind.

And then I’ll give it “The Shocker”

So there we have it. No gays in Chechnya and if there were then Canada should take them. I mean just look at this guy, would this man lie to you?

In my home country, they call me Honest Ramzy

The comments on the conditions of gays in Chechnya has caused reactions throughout the world. Both Angela Merkel and Emmanuel Macron have spoken to Putin about the situation, and he has promised “to look into it.”

While he’s doing that, here’s some more Ramzan to keep you occupied:

So then I said to Merkel “I’ll look into it”

Check out that trigger discipline
