It now appears that instead of choking George Floyd to death, Officer Derek Chauvin actually induced a heart attack.

Whatever the case, I think it’s reasonable to charge him with murder. There was no reason for him to stand on that birdwatcher’s neck like that.

Derek Chauvin, the Minneapolis police officer captured on video kneeling on the neck of 46-year-old George Floyd as he begged for his life, was charged on Friday afternoon with third-degree murder and manslaughter.

The state’s bureau of criminal apprehension took Chauvin, a 19-year veteran, into custody.

“We are in the process of continuing to review the evidence. There may be additional charges later,” the Hennepin county attorney, Mike Freeman, said.

Based on law enforcement review of body-cam video, state charging documents allege that the now former Minneapolis police officer kept his knee on Floyd’s neck for a total of nearly nine minutes, including two minutes and 43 seconds after Floyd became non-responsive.

Floyd’s family released a statement calling the arrest a “welcome but overdue step on the road to justice” and added that members “expected a first-degree murder charge”, which they still demand.

“The pain that the black community feels over this murder and what it reflects about the treatment of black people in America is raw and spilling out on to streets across [the country],” the statement read.

Under Minnesota law, a first-degree murder charge would require prosecutors prove Chauvin’s actions were willful and premeditated. Freeman confirmed authorities are still investigating.

The charges came as Andrea Jenkins, the city council vice-president, confirmed Floyd and Chauvin knew each other as “co-workers for a very long time”. The men worked together for more than 17 years as bouncers at a local club, El Nuevo Rodeo.

Maya Santamaria, the owner of El Nuevo Rodeo, told CNN Friday that on “urban nights”, Chauvin was known to treat black patrons more “skittish” and “anxious” than the club’s usual Latino patrons, eagerly reaching for “pepper spray with any little thing that might happen”.

“They certainly acted like a group mentality,” she said. “They always had to call backup. It was different than what we saw on our Latin nights.”

In Washington, the US attorney general, William Barr, called the video footage “harrowing to watch and deeply disturbing”. He also confirmed a separate US justice department investigation “to determine whether any federal civil rights laws were violated”.

This is not going to stop these blacks from rioting.

The only thing that can stop these blacks from rioting would be for the cops to stop them from rioting, and it is very clear that the cops have no interest in doing that, because the government wants these riots as they are creating a situation of total chaos in America so they can implement a police state.

The people are going to demand an end to the chaos created by these black rioters and the government is going to offer the solution of a brutal police state.

That will then play directly into the coronavirus hoax when the second wave of this hoax begins in the fall.

They are going to force vaccinate you, they are going to implant you with a computer chip – if you do not resist!

Don’t get caught up in hating the blacks over these riots. That is the reaction they are trying to trigger. Get caught up in hating the government, run by Jews, which is refusing to stop these blacks from rioting. At any point, they could shut this down, yet they are outright refusing to do so.

The wife of the white police officer charged with killing George Floyd has now filed for divorce from him, her lawyer said Friday.  

The announcement that Kellie Chauvin, a former Mrs. Minnesota winner, is seeking a divorce from Derek Chauvin comes on the same day that the fired cop was charged with murder over Floyd’s death on Monday. 

‘This evening, I spoke with Kellie Chauvin and her family. She is devastated by Mr. Floyd’s death and her utmost sympathy lies with his family, with his loved ones and with everyone who is grieving this tragedy. She has filed for dissolution of her marriage to Derek Chauvin,’ Sekula Law Offices said in a statement obtained by WCCO.

‘While Ms. Chauvin has no children from her current marriage, she respectfully requests that her children, her elder parents, and her extended family be given safety and privacy during this difficult time.’

Derek and Kellie, then a radiologist, met at Hennepin County Medical Center when he brought a suspect in for a health check before an arrest, returning to the hospital shortly after their initial meeting to ask her out.

It was the same medical center where Floyd was declared dead on Monday.

The couple married around 2010.

As part of a press push for her bid for beauty contest Mrs. Minnesota America 2018, Kellie raved about Derek in an interview from 2018, telling the Pioneer Press: ‘Under all that uniform, he’s just a softie.’ 

She also told the outlet: ‘He’s such a gentleman. He still opens the door for me, still puts my coat on for me. After my divorce, I had a list of must-haves if I were ever to be in a relationship, and he fit all of them.’ 

Kellie told the paper she fled Laos with her family as a child and came to America as a refugee.

She won the Mrs. Minnesota contest in October that year and went to Las Vegas in 2019 to compete for the national round of the beauty pageant.

Kellie now works as a realtor with Re/Max Results. 

She had two children with her first husband, who has since died.
