Ridley Scott’s Exodus film, loosely based on the Biblical book of the same name, has been banned in both Morocco and Egypt, having outraged various Arabs.

Egypt’s censorship board cited “historical inaccuracies” as a reason for the banning, the BBC reports. Apparently, they didn’t like the Jews being portrayed as having built the Pyramids, nor did they like that the miracle of the parting of the Red Sea was replaced with a non-miraculous parting of the Red Sea.

I too would take issue with the idea that Jews built the Pyramids, as I have never in my life heard of Jews building anything other than ponzi schemes, drug trafficking networks and other types of criminal scams. Pretty sure the Bible doesn’t even claim they built the Pyramids, that is a theory which originated elsewhere.
