Authorities in Mobile have a 22-year-old man in custody in connection with a kidnapping and sodomy they believe led to the murder of a 25-year-old victim on Thursday (August 3) evening.
The 25-year-old victim found suffering from gunshot wounds was transported to the hospital where he was pronounced deceased.
Police said based on the facts discovered throughout the homicide investigation, the case will be presented to a grand jury. McBride was subsequently charged with first-degree robbery, first-degree kidnapping, and first-degree sodomy.
Police investigators discovered all three charges were the cause for the shooting incident.
McBride was previously arrested on a first-degree possession of marijuana, possession of a controlled substance and promoting prison contraband on July 30, 2014. He was able to make a $2,500 bond on those charges, but later had that bond revoked in connection with a August 19, 2014, for second-degree assault and discharging a gun into an occupied vehicle.
