Lavrov Calls for Immediately Implementing UN Decisions on Israel, Creating Palestinian State

I’m going to have to go into the hallucinations that I had during my illness in some detail at some point. Some of them were of course personal, but those that weren’t, I should share.

I think the appropriate term is actually “fever dream.” We’ve all heard that term, and I never actually knew what it meant. (I suspect most people probably did not.)

Anyway, one of the storylines going throughout this experience was that Lavrov had died.

I don’t think it is a prophecy or anything. I think these were just “visions of doom.” But this tied into other storylines in the hallucinations in a way that probably must mean something important.

Right?

RT:

The escalation of violence in the Middle East should provide an impetus for implementing a two-state solution to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov has said.

Speaking to journalists on Thursday, the top diplomat reiterated a call for a swift resolution of the crisis. After that, hopefully “everyone would take responsibility for implementing the decisions of the UN Security Council on the creation of a Palestinian state under the principles that the UN has approved.”

Lavrov spoke to the media in Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan, after meeting his counterparts from the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS), a regional intergovernmental organization composed of former parts of the Soviet Union.

“All of us had the same opinion… that this confrontation must be stopped immediately, that parties should respect international humanitarian law, prevent any terrorist actions and indiscriminate use of force,” Lavrov said.

He stressed that civilians from both sides were suffering en masse and that the failure to create a viable Palestinian state was the root of continued tensions in the region.

Well.

I’d say that’s pretty obvious to everyone, though it very much seems that no one wants to say it.

Russia is now a global player. They’re winning a war against NATO. What they say matters.

Meanwhile, China has totally refused to condemn Hamas, and just said that all violence is wrong.

Palestinians now have someone at their back on the world stage.

The entire New East Bloc has a reason to rally around any flare-up of conflict, and this Israel-Palestine thing is the biggest flare-up of conflict since… World War II?

I guess we haven’t seen yet just how big this is going to get. They keep calling the Ukraine the biggest conflict since World War II, but I think this is going to get a lot bigger than that. Israel is going to have to invade all of Palestine, Lebanon, and, presumably, Syria, with this all headed towards a war with Iran.

At least, that’s what Bibi is planning.

I don’t see anything standing in his way.

I mean, after all – “BABIES WITH THIER HEADS CHOPPED OFF” – right?

It’s funny.

This story of Russia going hard for Palestine reminded me of this Jimmy Dore clip from a few months ago.
