LOL: Duterte Refuses to Apologize to Jews, Gets Assistant to Do It for Him

They want an apology? Sure. Hey you, when you’re done sweeping the floor, go apologize for me, ok?

You know the only thing more insulting than being mocked?

Receiving an apology from an employee of the one who mocked you.

The Filipino TOP SHITLORD Durterte, after pressure to retract his statement mocking the Jewish holocaust, has opted to delegate this task to some random assistant.

Philippines President Rodrigo Duterte apologized for the comparison of his campaign to eliminate drug use in his country to the Holocaust.

Duterte on Friday compared his plan to kill millions of drug dealers and drug users to Adolf Hitler’s extermination of six million Jews during the Holocaust.

I actually did a double-take when I read that headline. “What? Duterte apologized? Get outta here!”

Who’d buy that?

This guy isn’t known for his diplomacy.

“The president recognizes the deep significance of the Jewish experience especially their tragic and painful history,” presidential spokesman Ernesto Abella said Saturday in a statement, CNN reported. “We do not wish to diminish the profound loss of 6 million Jews in the Holocaust — that deep midnight of their story as a people.”

The statement said Duterte drew an “oblique conclusion, that while the Holocaust was an attempt to exterminate the future generation of Jews, drug-related killings as a result of legitimate police operations … will nevertheless result in the salvation of the next generation of Filipinos.”

They actually took the apology at face value.

Well, it’s clear the Jews accepted this “apology” in order to save face. They have no way to destroy Duterte – for now. You can be sure that if the president of an American company said that he modeled his management style after Hitler and that only 3 million Jews died in the holocaust, they wouldn’t take it lightly if he just got some PR dude to deliver some canned apology.

Also, the content of this statement is basically “sorry, but not sorry.” He’s saying “yeah, yeah, Jews suffered, blah blah, but we’re still going to continue killing drug dealers – deal with it.”
