Moscow Court Orders Navalny to Spend 3 Years in Prison Camp

In every picture of Alexi Navalny, he looks like he’s been up all night doing cocaine with some aging bimbo with bleached blonde hair, collagen lips and fake tits while listening to a top 40 pop playlist on YouTube, sweating and talking about the vacation he went on in Turkey and about how he’s planning to buy property in Moscow.

There are several types of Gen-Xer Russians (who grew up during the fall of the USSR), and this is the trashiest type (although possibly the most harmless). Navalny is unique in that he was groomed at Yale, but nonetheless remains a dopey small time scam artist with no real intentions to do much of anything other than look bored and occasionally pretend to know something about something expensive.

The idea that he has some powerful belief in something is not only not believable, but they’re not even really making that argument in the Western media (it’s just vaguely implied). What is someone who supports the West in Russia supposed to believe in? What grand American idea is he supposed to be trying to bring to Russia? Obviously, gay pride. We all get that. It’s kind of a joke, but beyond that, what would Russians want to emulate?

It’s a serious question, which I don’t think anyone has a serious answer to. This idea of America bringing freedom to the world was stupid enough already. After this coronavirus thing, people stripped of basic personal freedoms and locked in their houses, small businesses forced to hand over their wealth to the elite, the fake election, military in the streets – no one wants this.

We’ve created a system that is anti-human.

Did you know Navalny previously ran on a neo-Nazi platform?

Moscow Times:

A Moscow cdourt sentenced Kremlin critic Alexei Navalny to two years and eight months in a penal colony, defying tens of thousands of his supporters who had rallied in his support since his return to Russia and Western governments who had urged for his immediate release.

Navalny, 44, was detained on Jan. 17 when he returned to Moscow from Berlin, where he had spent months recovering from a near-fatal poisoning attack in August he blames on President Vladimir Putin.

His arrest triggered mass protests across Russia, with supporters taking to the streets in more than 100 cities for unsanctioned rallies urging his release.

The anti-corruption campaigner was charged with violating a 2014 suspended sentence for embezzlement by skipping out on check-ins with Russia’s prison service while in Germany. The European Court of Human Rights (ECHR) in 2017 ruled that Navalny’s 2014 conviction was “arbitrary and unreasonable.”

International leaders are already condemning Vladimir Putin, condemning this blasphemous betrayal of the sacred podiums of democracy, demanding the criminal be released immediately and Russia issue an apology to the entire world for daring to suggest their elections are legitimate (suggesting that Russian elections are free and fair is an unadulterated evil that can truly only be compared to suggesting that America’s election might not be totally free and fair).

Russia won’t release him, then there will be bigger sanctions, then there will be bigger riots.

There is going to be no point in the foreseeable future wherein this does not become the entire underlying issue of every Western nation’s relations with Russia.

Putin, apparently, is no more of a Sun Tzu figure than Trump. However, I do not believe he is a total moron, and he knows what the results of this will be (just like anyone on earth who is paying attention knows what the results will be). Further, unlike Trump, he actually has influence on his government’s policies.

The only scenario where Russia would do this is a scenario in which they’d already gamed out total war with America.

(Unless of course they are going to suspend the sentence on the condition that he surrender his citizenship and leave the country. But honestly, that just wouldn’t make any sense if that were the plan, because they would have just done what I said this whole time and never let him in in the first place.)
