The Confederate flag has always been a symbol of NASCAR.
The Confederate flag has always been a symbol of NASCAR.

As the great cleansing continues, even NASCAR is jumping on-board with the sick and bizarre SJW agenda to rid the universe of the symbol of Southern heritage.

NBC:

NASCAR’s national series tracks announced Thursday that they are asking fans to refrain from displaying the Confederate flag at races following the deadly attack at a South Carolina church two weeks ago.

The facilities vowed to have the most “welcoming environments in all of sports and entertainment.”

The statement was signed by International Speedway Corp. and Speedway Motorsports Inc. — which own most of the tracks in the Sprint Cup Series, stretching from Florida to New York to California — as well as 30 specific tracks. It also includes independent tracks such as Tony Stewart’s Eldora Speedway in Rossburg, Ohio, Pocono Raceway and Canadian Tire Motorsport Park.

“We are asking our fans and partners to join us in a renewed effort to create an all-inclusive, even more welcoming atmosphere for all who attend our events,” the statement read. “This will include the request to refrain from displaying the Confederate flag at our facilities and NASCAR events.”

The move follows NASCAR’s statement last week reiterating that the flag is banned from official use at its events. And it comes ahead of Sunday’s race at Daytona International Speedway — the first in the South since the mid-June attack that left nine black churchgoers dead in Charleston. The suspect had embraced Confederate symbols, including the battle flag.

Meanwhile, reruns of the Dukes of Hazard have been cancelled.

CNN:

Bo and Luke Duke are no longer flying through Hazzard County on TV Land.

The network has pulled episodes of “The Dukes of Hazzard” from its schedule, a spokesperson for TV Land confirmed on Wednesday.

The network would not comment further on whether reruns of the series were pulled due to its inclusion of a 1969 Dodge Charger known as the “General Lee” which has the Confederate battle flag painted on its roof.

And get this – the owner of the original car is going to deface it. As if he has this right. This is a piece of American history.

BBC:

US golfer Bubba Watson is to paint over the Confederate flag on the car from the Dukes of Hazzard TV series, as part of a growing backlash against the rebel symbol from the US Civil War.

The top golfer, who owns the car, announced the move by tweeting that he believed “all men are created equal”.

The flag divides opinion in the US, symbolising racism to its critics – and southern heritage to its defenders.

The debate was revived by a recent gun attack on a black church in Charleston.

The suspect behind the murder of nine churchgoers, Dylann Roof, appeared in many photos holding the flag.

At the rate this cleansing of all things White is moving, by this time next year we will be talking about banning the American flag. After all, it is absolutely as “racist” as the Confederate flag, simply because it is a symbol of Whiteness.

I am thinking of getting a gigantic tattoo of a Confederate flag across my back, maybe with some flaming skulls or perhaps a picture of Waylon Jennings’ face.
