Notre Dame is burning, and this may be the day we say goodbye to one of the most iconic works of our people.

The wonders it houses are turning to ashes and the memory of our greatness fades with the smoke.

This is a tragedy.

AP:

A catastrophic fire engulfed the upper reaches of Paris’ soaring Notre Dame Cathedral as it was undergoing renovations Monday, threatening one of the greatest architectural treasures of the Western world as tourists and Parisians looked on aghast from the streets below. France’s Interior Ministry said firefighters might not be able to save the structure.

The blaze collapsed the cathedral’s spire and spread to one of its landmark rectangular towers. A spokesman said the entire wooden frame of the cathedral would likely come down, and that the vault of the edifice could be threatened too.

Everything is burning, nothing will remain from the frame,” Notre Dame spokesman Andre Finot told French media. The 12th-century cathedral is home to incalculable works of art and is one of the world’s most famous tourist attractions.

Built in the 12th and 13th centuries, Notre Dame is the most famous of the Gothic cathedrals of the Middle Ages as well as one of the most beloved structures in the world. Situated on the Ile de la Cite, an island in the Seine river, the cathedral’s architecture is famous for, among other things, its many gargoyles and its iconic flying buttresses.

Among the most celebrated artworks inside are its three stained-glass rose windows, placed high up on the west, north and south faces of the cathedral. Its priceless treasures also include a Catholic relic, the crown of thorns, which is only occasionally displayed, including on Fridays during Lent.

French historian Camille Pascal told BFM broadcast channel the blaze marked “the destruction of invaluable heritage.”

It’s been 800 years that the Cathedral watches over Paris”, Pascal said. “Happy and unfortunate events for centuries have been marked by the bells of Notre Dame.”

He added: “We can be only horrified by what we see.”

It is your history and the achievements of your people that are being destroyed.

This is yours and it is burning.

It’s not coming back.

Understand that. It’s gone now.

Nothing can bring it back. Nothing will bring this piece of you back.

This isn’t an isolated event. What you’re seeing is the West burning.

As we’re invaded and our culture burns, more and more of our history will burn with it.

It will burn as your enemies cheer.

They say they don’t know the exact reason of the fire but that doesn’t matter because they wouldn’t really tell you if it was caused by browns.

Moslems love to destroy historic places, culture, monuments, and archaeological sites, and it just so happens that France has the highest number of browns and blacks ever the moment Notre Dame suffers from the worst fire it ever experienced.

If this isn’t a deliberate act, then it is the result of incompetence. Do you think white people would accidentally set Notre Dame on fire? Do you think the French would accidentally destroy their beloved Notre Dame?

Our culture and our people are not the only things that our replacement destroys. If we don’t defend ourselves, nothing will remain from us.

There will be nothing to indicate that we existed if we don’t stop flooding our countries with creatures of destruction.

Divine form, manifest in art, now having disappeared from the earth.

Realize that you’re now saying goodbye to a part of yourself and to a part of your people.

…and realize that unless we change things, this won’t be the last time.
