Apparently if you ruin a professional sports league like Roger Goodell has, you get rewarded with a huge $200 million contract extension.

The National Football League more popularly known as the Negro Felon League has signed commissioner Roger Goodell to a five year $200 million contract extension.

USA Today:

The NFL’s compensation committee informed owners in a memo Wednesday that commissioner Roger Goodell has signed a contract extension.

Pro Football Talk was the first to report the news.

The New York Times reported that Goodell’s extension is for an additional five years. It is worth up to $200 million if all incentives are met and bonuses granted, according to multiple reports.

According to the memo, which was obtained by USA TODAY Sports, the extension was signed by Goodell and Atlanta Falcons owner Arthur Blank, who heads the league’s compensation committee. The memo also cited a “nearly unanimous consensus” among NFL owners who supported finalizing the deal.

Can the league survive five more years of Goodell? Based on his track record over the past couple of years it is hard to be optimistic. Ratings and attendance have both plummeted over Goodell’s mishandling of the Negro player led national anthem protests. He’s also engaged in strange witch hunts against Tom Brady for the alleged used of a deflated football. All this while allowing Negro players to run amok.

$200 million is an insane amount of money to pay one man for any job. And it is not like this guy has been doing a good job. When you look at the empty seats, it is easy to see that he has not done a good job. The national anthem protests wouldn’t have even been a thing had he started suspending players from the start.

Goodell is primarily responsible for the ruination of the NFL’s brand. These empty seats are proof that the brand is is terrible shape over his mishandling of the national anthem protests.

Clearly, the NFL is becoming less and less culturally relevant. The national anthem protests have caused mass disenchantment with the league. Goodell’s only attempt to fix this was to bribe the Negroes with $100 million in charitable donations. This generous proposal was rejected proving that the only fix is to punish the players for their disrespectful actions. Goodell won’t do this because he’s afraid of being called a racist.

Oh well, we don’t want our people watching these ridiculous monkey ball spectacles any way. It is probably a good thing that Goodell has been given this huge contract extension. Under his leadership, we can expect the NFL to continue its already impressive cultural decline.
