It looked like Biden was going to fire her and then the media could claim “sources say Kamala Harris urged the president to fire this woman.” That would have been a nice touch.
But yeah, she couldn’t just keep going around like this forever, it was too ridiculous.
Embattled Secret Service chief Kimberly Cheatle has announced she will resign from her post less than two weeks after the agency’s calamitous failure at Donald Trump’s July 13 campaign rally led to him being wounded by an assassin’s bullet.
Cheatle, a 28-year veteran of the agency, faced mounting pressure to step down in recent days but insisted all along she would remain on the job. She announced her resignation in a letter to agency staffers on Tuesday morning.
“I have, and will always put the needs of this agency first. In light of recent events, it is with a heavy heart that I have made the difficult decision to step down as your Director,” Cheatle wrote in the letter, which was obtained by The Post.
She said she didn’t want the growing calls for her resignation to be “a distraction from the great work each and every one of you do towards our vital mission.”
Some people are promoting the idea that this shooting was the result of the DEI agenda and the competence crisis. “Look at Boeing,” they’ll say.

That can’t be the case.
None of the snipers were DEI, and the snipers choose their own perches. A sniper had a bead on the shooter when he shot, and waited for him to shoot.
This has to have been on purpose. No one would leave that roof open. Even black people and women could figure out that roof was where a shooter would go. Show the map to a small child and ask them where they would go to shoot from. Ask a small black or female child. There is no one this incompetent.
This SS woman did this whole song and dance to reinforce the incompetence theory.
