Sodomite Complains: ‘I am still not Getting what I Want’

Just last month the UK officially sanctioned homosexual marriage.  One might think that homosexuals would still be rejoicing at their victory, but some sodomites have already found another battle to fight in their struggle for “equality”: forcing churches to host homosexual weddings.  As reported at LifeSiteNews:

a homosexual man has launched a lawsuit against a Church of England parish in Maldon for refusing him and his civil partner the lavish church wedding of their dreams. Barrie Drewitt-Barlow told the Essex Chronicle that he has launched the suit because, despite the law, “I am still not getting what I want.”

No one who has paid attention to the ongoing decay of civilization should be surprised by this.  The forces of degeneracy are never satisfied and will always push for more.  There is no doubt that if we continue along our current path “homophobia” will become stigmatized and criminalized just as “racism” has been.

Drewitt-Barlow said, “The only way forward for us now is to make a challenge in the courts against the church. It is a shame that we are forced to take Christians into a court to get them to recognize us.”

“But we don’t want to force anyone into marrying us – it is supposed to be the happiest day in my life and that would make me miserable and would spoil the whole thing,” he said. “Aren’t Christians meant to forgive and accept and love?”

This sodomite invokes the same tired, invalid arguments against Christian opposition to homosexuality, claiming that forgiveness of offenses should translate into acceptance of sin.  Christians are supposed to hate sin, and, in the words of Caesarius of Arles, if we see a man in his sin we are to “stretch forth the hand of mercy by shouting to him or rebuking him or instilling fright in him“.  It is not Christian love to tell a sinner that what he does is righteous.

He added, “It upsets me because I want it so much – a big lavish ceremony, the whole works, I just don’t think it is going to happen straight away.”

Drewitt-Barlow claims that he just wants a “big lavish ceremony”, but this is obviously a lie.  It would already be quite easy for him to have a lavish ceremony at any number of castles or other historic buildings in Britain, and it is hard to imagine that he would undertake a lawsuit solely for the sake of a wedding venue.  The true motivation for pursuing the Church is that these sodomites wish to defile our sacred places, to mock God and tradition by holding their twisted ceremonies in the very same spot where the holy sacraments have been performed.
