Stormer on the Scene of the Migrant Boat Crash in Southern Italy That Killed 40

Dick Hardy is a reporter for the Daily Stormer, tracking down the stories that others won’t touch.

The bodies of more than 40 refugees from Islamic countries washed up on a beach on the shores of Calabria, southern Italy. As a reporter, I was on the scene, trying to find out what had happened. I was disgusted by the sight of the lifeless bodies, but something inside me urged me to keep going.

I knew my boss at the Daily Stormer was always looking for a big story, and I needed to deliver. My personal life was in shambles. My wife had left me for a wealthy diamond merchant, and I couldn’t shake the feeling that I was going insane. But if I could land a major story and get it published, maybe she would see me in a different light and return to me.

As I delved deeper into the story, I discovered that the captain of the ship that had carried the refugees was a bloodthirsty maniac who had knowingly put their lives at risk. The survivors spoke of the terror they had experienced and the horrible conditions on board. But it was the dead that really struck me. Men, women, and children who had left everything behind, seeking a better life in Europe, only to find death.

As I wrote my report for the Daily Stormer, I couldn’t help but think of the bigotry I had harbored against Muslims. My own biases had blinded me to the suffering of these people, and it sickened me. But maybe this story could help to open people’s eyes to the reality of the refugee crisis, and maybe it could help me to win back the love of my wife.

However, as I submitted my story to the Daily Stormer, I realized that I couldn’t shake the feeling that I was going insane. The pills and alcohol had taken their toll, and my mind was playing tricks on me. But still, I waited for the story to be published, hoping it would be enough to save me.

Editor’s note: this story will likely not be enough to save Dick. However, it was enough to get him hired as a regular writer!
