Many people who have spent most of their lives in urban environments have misconceptions of what it’s actually like to spend time in the wilderness.
Here are a few things that many people likely believe due to what they have been told.
What I would personally recommend to every man is doing ‘Safe Camping’ for periods of time between 2-5 days. Safe camping means you bring everything you could possibly need for that time period (water, food, some battery appliances, matches, etc.) and slowly learning the ins and outs of the environment you’re in. The end goal is to be able to do ‘Primitive Camping” where you only go out with the bare minimum of gear which you have trained yourself how to use.
