The Hague: Health Workers Accuse Jair Bolsonaro of Genocide by Coronavirus as He Himself Recovers

This is really goofy.

Pendect:

Brazilian President Jair Bolsonaro was denounced Sunday for crimes against humanity and genocide at the International Criminal Court, based in The Hague. The initiative is led by UNISaúde, a coalition of entities representing more than one million health workers in Brazil.

UNISaúde accuses the Brazilian president of “serious and deadly failures” in conducting the response to the Covid-19 pandemic. “In the understanding of the coalition, there are indications that Bolsonaro committed a crime against humanity during his administration in the face of the pandemic, by adopting negligent and irresponsible actions, which contributed to the more than 80 thousand deaths in the country”

According to Marcio Monzane, regional secretary UNI Americas: “The Bolsonaro government should be blamed for its insensitive action in the face of the pandemic and for refusing to protect Brazilian health workers as well as the Brazilian population, which he promised to defend when he became president.”

Apparently, anyone is allowed to appear at The Hague and make these kinds of allegations. You would think that they would screen for this sort of thing.

If I were Bolsonaro, I would sue not only the UNISaude group, but also the ICC itself for allowing this sort of bizarre defamation to be aired there. Surely, they knew what these people were going to say before they got up and said it, and surely, it’s not okay to go around accusing people of a genocide because they said “masks are for faggots” or whatever.

Bolsonaro had coronavirus, and apparently was sick, but now he’s fine.

euronews:

Brazilian President Jair Bolsonaro said on Saturday that he has tested negative for the novel coronavirus, after taking a fourth test since he announced on July 7 that he had the virus.

“Good morning everyone,” Bolsonaro wrote on Facebook after reporting that the test was “negative.”

He posted a photo of himself with a box of the anti-malaria drug hydroxychloroquine, which has not been proven to be effective against the virus.

Now that Bolsonaro is virus free, it is expected he will return to mingling with crowds as he had done previously.

So, if we run with the story that he was using the virus to commit a genocide, this becomes a very difficult story.

If we were to compare it with the most famous alleged genocide ever in all of history, this would be like if Adolf Hitler gassed himself and proved that the gas was harmless.

Isn’t this claim of “genocide by harmless flu virus” belittling the concept of genocide itself?
