The fact that Vanderbilt had to pause “gender affirming surgeries for patients under the age of 18” means they were performing gender affirming surgeries for patients under the age of 18. pic.twitter.com/dOKEW0Mi3f

The translash has begun.
They have been doing this child tranny stuff long enough now that a lot of people who were mutilated are now old enough to regret it and are speaking out and trying to sue these people who did it to them.
They should sue these doctors and hospitals, but they should also sue their parents and they should sue the media and school system for promoting it and falsely claiming it is safe while knowing the risks. If Alex Jones has to pay $1 billion for saying that public figures – gun control political activists – were lying about their kids dying, then surely people who claimed that tranny surgeries would help people’s mental health should have to pay at least ten times that.
No one has proved that Alex Jones lied on purpose (they actually haven’t proved that these “parents” are not crisis actors), but we know that the media and schools are aware of the suicide rate, they were aware there was no evidence that mutilating people’s bodies helps them, and they just lied about it.
Vanderbilt University Medical Center (VUMC) agreed to pause all gender transition surgeries performed on minors after an exposé by Daily Wire’s Matt Walsh on its Pediatric Transgender Clinic drew national attention.
VUMC announced the decision in an Oct. 7 letter to Tennessee Representative Jason Zachary, stating that the clinic would “pau[se] gender affirmation surgeries on patients under age 18” while it completes an internal clinic review on treating underage patients.
VUMC declined to comment.
Walsh tweeted the news the same day, stating that the “fight is far from over but this will save children from mutilation and abuse.”
UPDATE: here is the letter Vanderbilt sent to state legislators. Notice the wording at the end. They promise to comply with whatever regulations are imposed. They’ve already conceded the legislative fight. This win is even bigger than we thought. pic.twitter.com/VkKhuiHTUO

The VUMC letter claimed that the clinic review will also serve to assure the clinic complies with new guidances established by the World Professional Association for Transgender Health.
The new report, released Sept. 6, states that surgical treatment decisions should be “made carefully” due to the lack of studies on long-term effects.
“Despite the slowly growing body of evidence supporting the effectiveness of early medical intervention, the number of studies is still low, and there are few outcome studies that follow youth into adulthood,” the report reads. “Therefore, a systematic review regarding outcomes of treatment in adolescents is not possible.”
VUMC also agreed to “comply with any new requirements” established by the General Assembly (GA) in the upcoming legislative session. TN passed a flurry of laws regulating child transitioning in 2021, one of which prohibits providing hormone treatment to prepubescent children.
Zachary, who led a coalition of six GA members in a letter prompting VUMC to cease its activity in September, announced the update on Twitter, stating:
*Vanderbilt Medical Update
I’m pleased to report that we’ve heard back from VUMC & they have agreed to pause gender transition surgery on minors.
Additionally, they will always honor conscientious objectors.
We appreciate VUMC’s response to the @tnhousegop deep concerns.

The letter accused the clinic’s practice of “qualify[ing] as nothing less than abuse.”
“My colleagues and I in the Tennessee General Assembly are alarmed by recent reports from the Daily Wire detailing the surgical mutilations of minor children at Vanderbilt University Medical Center,” the letter read.
VUMC defended its services and clarified that all clinic patients were at least 16 years old and none received genital surgery.
The clinic, however, provided an average of 5 patients per year with “transgender care,” VUMC claimed.
VUMC’s letter also sought to clarify statements made by Dr. Shayne Taylor, who works for the clinic, who claimed gender transitioning surgery is a “big money maker” due to the number of procedures required.
Vanderbilt opened its trans clinic in 2018. During a lecture the same year, Dr. Shayne Taylor explained how she convinced Nashville to get into the gender transition game. She emphasized that it's a "big money maker," especially because the surgeries require a lot of "follow ups" pic.twitter.com/zedM7HBCBe

VUMC assured no state or federal funds are used for the procedures and disputed the claim, saying the revenue accrued is “an immaterial percentage.”
It’s impossible that they aren’t making a lot of money, but it is probably true that the main purpose is to hurt people and to push an ideology. I can believe that.
However, they are talking about how much money they are making, so it’s not “immaterial.” As always, evil things have different benefits for evil people. They can push their pedophile agenda, their agenda to destroy society, while also making money.
Good on Matt Walsh. He might be a Jewish shill (he is, actually), but he’s done something worthwhile here. It’s not going to change the game, but if we can save a few children, that is a good thing, and it’s something that God will reward him for (of course that reward will be outweighed by his shilling for the murderers of Christ Our Lord – shills for the Jews can only end up in one place in the end, and that is Hell).
I still believe that the overwhelming majority of people are incapable of processing the fact that they are mutilating children, cutting pieces off of them, ensuring a (very short) life of psychosis and suffering. People’s brains just can’t grasp that this is real. That is the only possible reason there is not more outrage.
