Four men have been jailed for kidnapping and torturing a man who was tied up and burnt with an iron.

John Ugoani told Ipswich Crown Court he was also scalded at a flat near Stoke Bridge, Ipswich, last March.

Gibril Seray-Wurie was jailed for 14 years and Malachi Cavalho for 12 years after being convicted of grievous bodily harm, among other offences.

Two other men who admitted related offences were jailed for 10-and-a-half years and three-and-a-half years.

During a fortnight of evidence at a trial last year, Mr Ugoani told the court he had arranged to buy £16 worth of cannabis, but following a meeting in Bell Close he was taken to the flat in Purplett Street.
