There’s all kinds of daily knife attacks in the United Kingdom.

You could say the attacks are pretty diverse.

Daily Mail:

A 19-year-old man was left in a critical condition after being stabbed in the chest on a London bus earlier today.

The teenager was attacked aboard the 134 bus in Muswell Hill, north London – with Scotland Yard officers called to reports of a stabbing at around 4.40pm.

One woman, who asked not to be named, told The Mirror: ‘When I arrived the bus was parked, I rushed on to see him and he was collapsed on the back seat, slumped and bleeding. His neck was bent at a strange angle.

I was told my friend brushed the guy’s knee and the guy started on him‘.

He was airlifted to hospital where he remains in a critical condition.

In a separate incident, an 18-year-old was stabbed in Edgware Road, west London. Scotland Yard said his injuries were not life-threatening.

Britons are not even safe while on a bus.

But what about nightclubs?

Nope. Not safe there either.

Daily Mail:

A triple stabbing in a nightclub happened just yards away from where Sajid Javid was challenged by a mother over knife crime yesterday.

The victims were attacked at the Medleys club, Northfields, Birmingham, just hours after the Home Secretary was quizzed about the recent spate of killings across the country.

Three men, thought to be in their 20s, were rushed to hospital after being stabbed at around 2.20am.

What about tourists? Are they safe?

No, not even tourists are safe in the United Knifedom.

Daily Mail:

A man has been charged with the murder of an aspiring chef David Martinez-Valencia, who was stabbed to death in east London.

Carlos Rueda Velez, 20, was charged with murder this morning and is set to appear at Thames Magistrates’ Court later today.

The charge follows an incident at an address in North Birkbeck Road, E11 on Wednesday, 6 March, where Mr Rueda Velez also lives.

Police and London Ambulance Service were called at approximately 16:25pm to reports of a stabbing and found 26-year-old David suffering injuries. He died at the scene.

Detectives from the Homicide and Major Crime Command continue to investigate the circumstances.

Relatives had paid to David, who moved to London to pursue his career.

David who had dual Spanish and Colombian citizenship, was repeatedly stabbed at a flat in Leyton, east London, on Wednesday. He ran down the street but collapsed in front of shocked passers-by and bled to death just after 5pm.

Okay. But what about a man just chilling inside of his car, is he safe from the United Kingdom’s knife violence?

lol of course not.

Daily Mail:

A man has been stabbed to death after he confronted joyriders for crashing into his parked car while he was sleeping in it.

The victim had parked up in a car park in Edinburgh when his vehicle was hit by a stolen car.

Sources said the man got out of his car during a confrontation and was then attacked.

Emergency services were called to the scene on Edinburgh’s Ford’s Road by a member of the public. However the man could not be saved and died shortly after.

With all that knife crime, the United Kingdom must be heavily investing in fighting it, right?

…right?

Err… it appears that the government there is actively trying to increase knife crime.

Daily Mail:

Councils have warned that budget cuts of 50 per cent to youth offending teams with a track record of cutting crime could undermine the fight against knife violence.

The warning comes as authorities are being stretched due to the surge in knife crime cross the country.

The Local Government Association (LGA) highlighted that efforts to prevent children joining gangs and becoming involved in knife crime will be undermined if funding for youth offending teams (YOTS) continues to be hit.

Across 2010/11 YOTs received funding of £145 million, but just eight years later this amount was slashed by half with 2018/19’s funding coming in at £71.5 million.

The LGA represents 370 councils in England and Wales and said that more cuts will harm ongoing efforts to prevent children getting involved with criminals.

Councils are now waiting in anticipation to find out what their youth justice grant allocations will be for 2019/2020, but have set their budgets without this information.

Don’t worry though.

Everything’s fine, man. It’s fine.

They’re just knives.

Kitchenware.

Nothing to fear.
