UK: NHS Begins Asking Interview Panels for Written Explanation for Hiring Whites

In the US there is a law that you’re not allowed to racially discriminate in hiring. These people do it anyway, but there are some barriers they have to think about, at least for now.

In Europe, they can just do whatever to whoever.

The Post Millennial:

Britain’s National Health Service (NHS) is forcing interview panels to justify their reasoning behind hiring white applicants over applicants who are ethnic minorities.

The Daily Mail reports that the Royal Free in north London is asking staff to compile reports justifying why the successful candidate was “more suitable for the position” if the candidate is white. If the candidate is an ethnic minority this justification is not required.

This involves writing to the trust’s chief executive with proof on how the non-white applicant scored and coming up with suggestions on how the candidate can improve.

Critics on staff say that the system is a “tick-box exercise” that adds more bureaucracy to the service.

A senior source at the hospital said: “It feels like a tick-box exercise. When we discuss who the best applicant was after the interview, it’s not about their ethnicity.

“So justifying your decision based on where they might be from does take a lot of time because you have to reevaluate your decision from a completely different perspective, based on race rather than ability.”

This word “woke” doesn’t seem to be helping the discourse much, frankly.

It should be referred to as an anti-white, anti-Christian, Jewish agenda.
