Andrew is recovering in hospital after allegedly being victim of a broad daylight attack between Chester Road and Windward Way at 2.30pm on Tuesday.
He suffered severe arm injuries in the incident, which allegedly saw his iPhone 10 stolen.
The teenager remains in a serious but stable condition in hospital.
