US Sanctions Venezuelan Officials for Allegedly Violating the Sacred Rules of Democracy

We live in a rules-based order of democracy, and the rules are: everyone has gay sex, it’s illegal to criticize Jews, women control everything, and all Palestinian children must die.

The first rule of democracy is you do not talk about Jews.

The second rule of democracy is you do not talk about Jews.

If it’s your first night in a democracy, you have to get fucked in the ass.

The Biden administration on Wednesday announced sanctions against 21 Venezuelan officials over the wave of political repression following the country’s disputed July 28 election, which incumbent Nicolás Maduro claimed to win despite opposition vote-tracking showing otherwise.

“We are using our sanctions authorities to impose costs on 21 Maduro-aligned individuals for their myriad abuses against the Venezuelan people and attempts to steal the election,” a US official said on a White House-organized call.

“Our sanctions policy seeks to incentivize democratic actions in Venezuela.”

Sanctions allow the US government to seize assets held outside Venezuela and also serve to disconnect the individuals from the global financial system.

Maduro is a charming man, and these democracy people are truly nasty and hateful.

Does anyone care about “human rights”? Can anyone even define it?

Does it just mean “gay sex” and “it’s illegal to criticize the Jews”? Because that’s what I always hear.
