Court documents accuse at least one of 14-year-old Alexis Kane’s alleged killers of a carjacking just days before the slaying.

A probable cause court document obtained by KCTV5 News shows that Kansas City police responded to the Bennington Ridge Apartments in the Northland for a carjacking.

Kevin Moberg, 29, told police his 2013 Ford Fusion was stolen by two men with dreadlocks and an underage girl about 6:30 a.m. Jan. 7.

“As soon as I unlocked it and opened my door, they jumped on me from behind, put a gun against my head,” Moberg said.

Moberg didn’t see the two men’s faces during the carjacking. However, he saw the young girl, who he says wasn’t Alexis, take his keys and drive away while the two men held him down.

“The guy forced me down on the ground, went through all my pockets, took my wallet, tried to get my phone and couldn’t find it,” Moberg said. “Stuck the gun up against my head one more time and shoved it forward on the back of my head.”

Isaac “Malik” Carter, Ce-Antonyo Kennedy and Dominic McDaniel have each been charged with first-degree murder and armed criminal action.

Police found Alexis’ body Jan. 11 at The Bay Water Park.

Isaac “Malik” Carter, 17, Ce-Antonyo Kennedy, 17, and Dominic McDaniel, 18, each are charged with first-degree murder and armed criminal action in her death.

Since the teen suspects don’t have attorneys yet, a judge entered a not guilty plea for them during a brief court appearance Monday. The three are due back in court next month.

Each has denied any involvement in Alexis’ murder and say they have alibis.

The discovery of Alexis’ body came one day after police tracked down Moberg’s car.

And after a short chase, they also arrested an underage girl and Kennedy, who Moberg suspects was the man who held a gun to his head and took his car.
