Additionally, 19-year-old Charles Thomas Little faces murder and robbery charges after authorities say he confessed to being involved as well.

All suspects are being held without bond. The Hunters’ and Frione’s first court appearances were held Friday morning, while Little’s will be held Monday.

Little was arrested after a search warrant was executed by investigators and the Columbus County SWAT Team Friday afternoon at his home in the Sandy Ridge Apartments.

Little tried to flee on foot, but then surrendered without resistance.

Captain David Nobles with the Columbus County Sheriff’s Department says deputies responded to a reported shooting at 332 Shug Norris Road around 6 p.m. Tuesday. When the deputies entered the home, they found Wright dead.

Preliminary investigations show that Wright was shot once in chest.

They say a second man, 25-year-old Jonathan Elgin Long, was found shot multiple times.

Long lives at the address where the shooting took place. He was taken to the Loris Hospital. Family members said Friday that Long’s condition has improved and that he is now conscious and communicating. It appears Long has a past criminal record.
