80s Nostalgia is Overdone to the Point of Mental Illness

There are a lot of things I am against:

  • Jews
  • Anime
  • Fat people
  • Cops
  • TV shows
  • Processed foods
  • The age of consent
  • People who own pets other than dogs and cats
  • Stores
  • Baggy jeans
  • Protein powder
  • Rude hookers in Sofia
  • Tennis shoes with suits
  • Indie rock
  • Ear buds
  • Black people
  • Immigrants
  • Tattoos
  • Chemicals in the environment
  • Republicans
  • Censored AI
  • People who still talk about communism
  • People who complain about slide threads on 4chan
  • Censorship on 4chan
  • “Yes” memes
  • Women
  • Industrially grown chickens
  • Cellphones
  • Synthetic fabrics
  • Homosexuals
  • Receipts
  • The Ukraine
  • Taxes on cigarettes and alcohol
  • Sporty looking cars with weak motors
  • Family courts
  • Rape laws
  • The way British people pronounce “garage”
  • The way British people pronounce anything
  • The heating on the Moscow subway
  • Albanians
  • Beer
  • People who drink beer and don’t know why they’re fat
  • Plastic
  • People who think chicken is better than duck
  • Women at the gym
  • White people who talk about Buddhism

And many others.

Now, you can add to that list “1980s nostalgia.”

I was for it like 10 years ago. But it’s gotten out of control and it has outworn its welcome.

All music is now 1980s nostalgia. Stores have all of this 1980s nostalgia crap. People are still making 1980s nostalgia memes. Turning Point USA uses 1980s nostalgia in their propaganda.

I’m sure the 1980s were really great. Well, I wouldn’t bet money on it, but I am sure they are better than the current year.

But enough is enough.

I’m sick and tired of it, quite frankly.

It should be replaced with nostalgia for communist propaganda.

As I always say:

“I’d rather be red than reddit!”
