American Russia Supporters Pushing QAnon Kook Type Stuff About the Prigozhin Event

Jackson Hinkle is an American pro-Russia Twitter personality. He seems like a nice guy.

He is currently, however, leading a QAnon type movement on Twitter to claim that the attempted coup by Wagner was some kind of staged hoax, and part of a 5D chess plan to get Wagner moved to Belarus.

As I reported earlier today, a British general, who is very anti-Russia, is promoting this same theory.

I’m neutral on conspiracy theories in general. That is to say, I’m willing to listen to any conspiracy theory. This one, to me, is totally ridiculous. I’m not sure how to even classify it, other than by using comparisons to QAnon.

As a general rule, you shouldn’t start with a conspiracy theory and work backward. If the basic theory is that Russians don’t make mistakes, then you can explain anything by working backwards with vague concepts like “seeing who is loyal.” QAnon made this same argument when explaining why Trump allowed Biden to take office in 2021. They said that Trump was allowing Biden to take over, and then he would see who was loyal, and catch them red-handed, then order the military to round everyone up and execute them.

None of this makes any sense.

Like, think about it.

Imagine if Prigozhin did resume command of Wagner after this. Everyone in Russia believes he is a traitor. Putin is going to announce later – “no, we tricked you! It was all a ruse! We just had to see who was loyal!”

Does that make sense?

Does it make sense that people would follow Prigozhin’s command, after it was claimed that he staged a coup and killed Russian soldiers?

Russians are really mad about all of this.

What’s more, Prigozhin was lying about the state of the Russian military to foment dissent. There was never an ammo shortage, the line was never collapsing, and Shoigu never bombed a Wagner base. So if anyone did go along with the coup, they did it (at least in part) because Prigozhin was lying to them.

I don’t really think I should have to explain this. It is too silly.

I will admit when it first started, I said there was a possibility that it was part of some elaborate plot to get the Ukrainians to make a push and get wiped out. But that became obviously untrue within a couple of hours. Staging a hoax on this scale, and confusing everyone on purpose, would be utterly irresponsible and insane.

I think this is very obvious.

These people are using supposed US intelligence cited by Western media as a source.

But hey – there are a lot of accounts saying this. I don’t know if it is coming from Hinkle, or from others, but it is really absurd.

Honestly, it looks like these people are joking.

Like, this is full on QAnon. It’s just the exact same thing, again.

I guess we can call it ZAnon.

I don’t think QAnon helped Trump, as it seemed to actually keep people docile. Obviously, it matters less what Americans think about what is happening in Russia, but just for the sake of your own brain, I would highly advise you not to get involved in this goofy kook shit.

Obviously, I encourage everyone to think about all angles, and work stuff through in your own head, and draw your own conclusions. But keep track of the internal logic of the things you believe, and if things start to get goofy, check yourself.

This is really embarrassing for these people. Anyone saying this is going to be mocked over it forever.

Furthermore, this makes Americans who support Russia look like kooks and retards.

Just be normal, bro.
