So of course: massive social upheaval in Indonesia.
BBC:
Tens of thousands of Indonesians have protested for a third day against a controversial law that critics say will harm workers and the environment.
Rallies took place around the country. Hundreds were arrested in Jakarta. Hundreds more have been held in strikes and protests in other cities this week.
The so-called “omnibus” jobs creation bill became law on Monday.
The government says the changes are needed to help its economy which has been hit hard by the Covid-19 pandemic.
Demonstrations have gathered steam in the capital Jakarta and other cities such as Bandung on Wednesday and Thursday, after relatively peaceful protests earlier in the week.
Indonesian police detained at least 400 protesters, including some who were allegedly armed with molotov cocktails and sharp weapons.
The bill, which is over 1,000 pages long and amends 79 existing laws, was passed with the support of seven out of nine parties.
I’m sure tens of thousands of Indonesians are protesting in the name of environmentalism. If there’s one thing I know about Indonesians, it’s that they’re big environmentalists.
I’m being sarcastic, frankly, and this looks to be another manufactured lunatic scheme.
Maybe it’s nothing.
More than likely, it’s something.
This is the same thing we’ve seen everywhere else on the planet in 2020 – riot cops and Molotovs.
It feels to me, frankly, like the CIA is just pulling every single trigger, all at the same time.
Like some serious wild west business.
Literally fanning that shit like Yul Brynner in The Magnificent Seven.
It’s really exhausting to be trapped inside of a gigantic psychodrama, where events are all provoked or outright staged by these intelligence agency lunatics who more and more appear to be doing it to simply destroy the world, rather than for any specific goal.
The implicit goal is of course a world government, but the people who planned a world government a century ago, H.G. Wells and these people, they would have been appalled by all of this. They wanted a futuristic, hyper-cool space empire type gig. Not trannies, fat women and Somalians being guided by irate and sexually bizarre Jews.
I just keep thinking that song “Eve of Destruction” was released about five and a half decades too soon.
There’s some hippie nonsense in the lyrics, but the underlying vibe is exactly what I’m feeling right now.
Can you dig it, gnarly dude?
