That chyron was deadpanned. I’m not entirely sure that Tucker even knew it was up.
RePUGnant was good too.
I would have done “Lock up your dogs, Fauci’s on the prowl” for the chyron. But you can’t win them all.
His current writing staff is very, very good. And I think that problem he had last year was entirely due to a bad writing staff after Blake was unjustly fired.
The other day there was a casual reference to “billionaire Silicon Valley transhumanists.”

Writing staff make or break TV news shows. The host can’t be expected to not have a funnel for the news.
You might be thinking: “well, Anglin, you keep on top of the news without having a writing staff.”
That is true.
But firstly, I do not do a TV show. I do not have to show up in a suit (or at least the top part of a suit) every day, and I do not have to deal with network politics.
Secondly, I’m a genius.
Someone on the team needs to talk Tucker down from his China nonsense. And the aliens gibberish. Fix those two issues, and the show will be perfect. (I do suspect that those are two issues he’s personally stuck on, rather than the writing staff. Everyone gets the thing with regards to China, and the aliens thing is just obvious.)
