Weirdo Bill Clinton told annoying Jimmy Kimmel he is hoping for an alien invasion to unite us with the Muslims… or whatever.

He mentioned that during his presidency, he had aides research Area 51 “to make sure there was no alien down there,” and had files relating to Roswell, N.M., (the site of a purported alien sighting in 1947) reviewed during his presidency.
“If you saw that there were aliens there, would you tell us?” Kimmel asked.
“Yeah,” Clinton replied, nodding.
Clinton then went on to frame an argument around the classic 1996 sci-fi disaster film Independence Day, which is probably the greatest sentence we’ve ever had the pleasure of writing.
“If we were visited someday I wouldn’t be surprised. I just hope it’s not like Independence Day … [An invasion] may be the only way to unite this increasingly divided world of ours … think of how the differences among people of Earth would seem small if we feel threatened by a space invader.”
