Practically every time this happens, the perp turns out to be black (usually one of the mudshark’s previous pets who went buckwild with jealousy).

Johnson City Press:

The Carter County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the deaths of a man and woman found shot at a residence on Jim Rains Road early Thursday morning.

The office said 40-year-old Lori Elliott and 40-year-old Corey Montez Bryson were both fatally injured in the shooting

Elliott was found dead at the scene and Bryson was transported to a hospital, where he died. Sheriff Dexter Lunceford said a 13-year-old girl was at the scene.

Deputies responded at 4:11 a.m. to a 911 call about shots fired. When they arrived, they found the body of the woman and had the man transported by ambulance.

“This is being investigated as a homicide,” Lunceford said.
