A man Anchorage police have identified as a suspect in a homicide at the Black Angus Inn has been arrested outside of Alaska nearly two months after the crime, according to police.
Brant Marshall, 40, who is known to acquaintances as “Joey Snow” and “Snowy,” is wanted on second-degree murder and manslaughter charges. He is a suspect in a Dec. 3, 2019 shooting that killed 34-year-old Grant Fowler at the inn.
Police at the time said Marshall had traveled outside of Alaska during their investigation into the shooting. He was arrested in the U.S. Virgin Islands on Jan. 28.
An updated community alert from the Anchorage Police Department said Marshall was taken into custody by the U.S. Marshals Service Fugitive Task Force. Police said he will be extradited to Alaska.
