I came across a thread on /pol/ showing images people had taken at the grocery store of the current prices of food in Canada.
I can’t confirm the images independently, but they appear to be real.
This is insane.
What is even more insane is that the media is not reporting it.
I typed “food prices canada,” and the most recent article is nearly two weeks old.
It is not being declared a crisis.

We’re leaving the era of cheap food in Canada, according to a leading food distribution researcher also known as Canada’s Food Professor.
“That is what is happening now, COVID-19 is accelerating this pace,” said Sylvain Charlebois, who founded the Agri-food Analytics Lab at Dalhousie University in Halifax.
Charlebois said food discounting at grocery stores has virtually disappeared since the coronavirus pandemic began in March. He predicts a trend toward higher food prices will continue.
“We’ve been spoiled as consumers,” Charlebois said.
A year ago, Charlebois forecast a four per cent increase in food prices. He hinted that he will be forecasting at least that amount of food price inflation for 2021 when he releases his annual price report for next year in December.
Four percent? So last year, pork chops were $21?
They were spoiled, he says.
Now it’s $22 for a pork chop.
The fact that this is the way the media is dealing with the situation actually amounts to a conspiracy.
By the way, for anyone who isn’t picking it up: this is inflation caused by the government printing money. It’s actually on the verge of hyperinflation, which I have predicted will happen in every Western country as a result of the government printing money to attempt to keep the economy afloat after it was imploded by this lockdown.
