China Reveals US has Flown More Than 10 Balloons Over China in the Last Year

China has a whole lot more credibility than America.

We don’t really see the Chinese going out there and just lying.

Their own population seems to expect the government to tell the truth, given that it is not a democracy.

China said on Monday that U.S. high-altitude balloons had flown over its airspace without permission more than 10 times since the beginning of 2022, widening a diplomatic row after the U.S. military shot down what it says was a Chinese spy balloon.

“Since last year, the U.S.’s high-altitude balloons have undergone more than 10 illegal flights into Chinese airspace without the approval of the relevant Chinese departments,” Chinese foreign ministry spokesperson Wang Wenbin said at a regular briefing in Beijing in response to a question.

Wang did not specifically describe the balloons as military or for espionage purposes and did not provide further details.

Asked how China had responded to such incursions into its airspace, Wang said its responses had been “responsible and professional.”

The U.S. defense department did not immediately respond to a request for comment.

This is just self-evidently true.

Saying “oh well, they’re the bad guys so they’re evil so they just lie about everything” is childish and idiotic. The US says they lie all the time, but they can’t name a single specific lie that was ever exposed as a lie.

Meanwhile, the US was just exposed for bombing the Nord Stream. Their lies get exposed all the time. If China is just going out there lying constantly, you’d think at least one lie would have been exposed by now, no?

Chinese are actually serious people.

They expose America for the joke that it is.

China would not have shot down the balloons because they would know they were weather balloons – or at the very least, they would know that a country with a bunch of satellites doesn’t need to send “spy balloons” like it’s the 1860s.

The US entering into Chinese airspace with fighter jets is much more egregious, and China doesn’t ever respond to that.

So the grounds on which these people have to whine are minimal.

But they whine still.
