CNN Defends Moslems Cheering Notre Dame Fire, Says Arson is a Conspiracy Theory

Look, that’s a hoax. Okay? Moslems are people of peace because Islam is the religion of peace, and setting stuff on fire is not very peaceful. This is why Moslems can’t be to blame here. It’s just not possible.

CNN and other news outlets are very concerned about Moslems being falsely accused of experiencing happy feelings at the sight of Notre Dame burning.

There’s just no way of knowing if these people are even Moslems. They could be Christians. Or Buddhists for that matter. Because French are mostly not Moslems and the above browns are as French as Charlemagne.

Someone needed to step up and defend them.

CNN:

Even before the blaze at Notre Dame was extinguished, conspiracy theories and fake news about the fire had ricocheted around the internet.

The most egregious examples of misinformation originated in the darker corners of the internet but many found bigger audiences on social media.

One prominent conspiracy theory revolved around the claim that the fire had been deliberately started.

InfoWars, a fringe website which is known for spreading conspiracy theories, published a story which suggested the fire had been intentionally set.

EXACTLY. Thank you for saying it, CNN. It’s unbelievable that in current year people are still doubting that fire spontaneously occurs at any place, at any time, completely at random. The myth of the discovery of fire perpetuates this absolutely erroneous belief about fire. No one discovered fire, fire was just everywhere. People just figured out how to cook things with it.

This is settled science, by the way.

Paris Prosecutor Rémy Heitz said that while the cause of the fire has not been established, it was likely “accidental.”

Nothing shows that it’s an intentional act” he said in a press conference on Tuesday.

Yet some social media users made claims that went beyond even what was claimed by InfoWars. On Twitter, a fake account made to look like one operated by CNN claimed the fire was caused by terrorism.

Why are these people not believing authorities? Our benevolent overlords would definitely tell us if some mean Moslem terrorists that have nothing whatsoever to do with Islam were to blame for this fire because they have no agenda that requires us to accept Moslems into our countries.

Social media users with big followings promoted the conspiracy theories, with some attempting to blame racial or religious minorities for the outbreak of the fire.

One strategy appeared to be the use of old and unrelated articles about Catholic churches being desecrated in France to insinuate that the Notre Dame fire was an intentional act.

Yeah, if there’s a track record of some very specific stuff happening in multiple time and places, not even the police would suggest that maybe the events are somehow related because that’s literally insane.

Like, literally, that’s the definition of insanity.

Other accounts posted an erroneous 2016 article about gas tanks and “Arabic documents” being uncovered near the cathedral.

You heard CNN. That’s just erroneous, pal.

This is also erroneous:

Also the following is most definitely erroneous too:

But the most erroneous of all is a Daily Mail article.

Daily Mail:

ISIS fanatics are heartlessly revelling in the inferno at Notre Dame Cathedral just days before Easter calling it ‘retribution and punishment’, according to terror intelligence researchers.

A poster of the blazing cathedral appeared online accompanied by the words, ‘Have a good day,’ and was created by the ISIS affiliated Al-Muntasir group according to the Terrorism Research & Analysis Consortium.

The poster says: ‘Its construction began in the year 1163 and ended in 1345. It’s time to say goodbye to your oratory polytheism.’

The jihadists referred to the catastrophe as ‘retribution and punishment,’ SITE intelligence reported.

Wait. I can explain this. This is just a big misunderstanding due to our cultural differences and the language barrier.

They’re actually wishing the people who are hurt by the loss caused by the fire to feel better and to have a nice day to compensate for the suffering caused by all the destruction in Notre Dame.

Because Islam is the religion of peace, and this is what Moslems do. They can’t help but be nice people.

Remember, believe CNN and believe authorities.

Don’t fall for these conspiracy tricks. They’re designed to turn you into a mean bigot.
