In principle, I see nothing wrong with this.
I see how this can be abused by bug-people and Jews, sure, but at the same time, I just watched the movie “The Titan” on the plane and I’m intrigued by the idea of genetically engineering our own evolution.
RT:
Genetically modifying an embryo’s DNA to prevent heritable diseases could be “ethically acceptable”, a landmark report has claimed. Critics, however, say it would pave the way for ‘designer babies’.
The Nuffield Council of Bioethics, an independent charitable body investigating the ethics of certain biological and medical developments, said in a report that while it does not support overhauling current legislation so that embryo gene editing can be carried out, it does not mean the UK should fall short of doing so in the future.
“Whilst there is still uncertainty over the sorts of things genome editing might be able to achieve, or how widely its use might spread, we have concluded that the potential use of genome editing to influence the characteristics of future generations is not unacceptable in itself,” said Karen Yeung, a professor of law, ethics and informatics at Britain’s Birmingham University, who chaired the panel.
Look, if we’re not going to start engineering Aryan supermen, the chinks are defs going to beat us to the punch.
So really, we don’t have any choice. Twelve-foot tall four-digit IQ Chinamen will shut us all down.
The body did stress, however, that gene editing may only be possible with consideration of two overarching principles: that the procedure be carried out to “secure the welfare” of the individual involved, and only in circumstances were it cannot be expected to trigger social division.
But the report was shot down by some who claim it risks paving the way for the approval of so-called ‘designer babies’. Commenting on the council’s review of genome editing, Dr David King, Director of Human Genetics Alert, described its findings as “an absolute disgrace”, noting decades-long international bans on eugenic genetic engineering.
I have a sneaking suspicion that this somehow is not going to fly with “The Christians.” I mean, they’re fine with gays getting married now, non-Whites flooding our countries and women divorce-raping their men, but of course, I think that we’re going to have some trouble convincing them to get onboard with something actually fun.
That being said, I don’t want you to think that I’m a techno-fetishist science-worshipper. Messing around with biology and genes like this is obviously going to create some crazy monsters and skin-crawling demons in the very near future.
If they ever escape from their lab cages, they’ll maul the bespectacled nerds that keep them under lock and key and escape – at which point, we’re looking at a Doom, demon-hunter type scenario.
Which, you gotta admit is pretty cool.
I think that I can get behind hunting demons and biological experiments gone wrong in the ruins of Silicon Valley or wherever these scientists are doing their experiments.
Certainly more fun – and less hellish – than this child tranny and Somalian immigrant thing we got going on now.
So frankly, I see no scenario where things don’t improve in the near future.
If experiments are successful, we can genetically-engineer humans capable of colonizing Saturn, get rid of stuff like Downs Syndrome and if the experiments are not successful, some nerds die and we get to hunt demons.
nb4 – don’t worry lads – there will be hookers in the safe zones we clear out.
Win-win.
