If God wills it, then there’s no helping it.
Is it any surprise that today’s men are so disinclined towards justice and heroism? After all, heroic acts used to be rewarded with fame and honor – but today, even something as innocent as trying to save children’s lives is apparently grounds for prosecution leading to heavy punishment.
Meanwhile, criminals who kill children (abortion doctors) and abuse them by teaching them all this tranny stuff are awarded with money and social recognition.
Tsk, tsk, tsk.
My theory is that we’re actually living in the Bizarro World version of some sane reality – which I hope exists, somewhere out there in the multiverse.
CNN:
A Delaware man threw a lit incendiary device at a Planned Parenthood facility and spray-painted the Latin words for “God wills it” on the building, federal prosecutors said Monday.
Samuel James Gulick, 18, of Middletown, was charged with intentionally damaging a building that provides reproductive health services and maliciously damaging a building used in interstate commerce through the use of fire or a destructive device, the US Attorney’s office in Delaware said.
Gulick was also charged with possession of an unregistered destructive device under the National Firearms Act in connection with the January 3 incident at the Planned Parenthood facility in Newark, Delaware.
Gulick is currently in federal custody and currently doesn’t have an attorney. He is expected to have an attorney when he appears for a detention hearing Friday, officials said.
Video surveillance showed Gulick spray-painting the words “Deus Vult” in red letters on the building and throwing the lit incendiary device at the building’s front window, according to the complaint. The object exploded but self-extinguished after about a minute, prosecutors said.
“Deus Vult” is Latin for “God wills it,” according to Merriam-Webster.
How can something be immoral, let alone illegal, if God wills it?
What a strange concept.
I’m not a lawyer, though. It’s actually possible that obeying God’s will is illegal in America now. Make sure to double check every time you’re about to obey God’s will.
Like in this case, torching abortion clinics to save children’s lives is obviously in accordance with the divine order of the universe, but for some reason is illegal. I don’t know who created that law, but it was probably a Jew. Don’t quote me on that though.
Law enforcement identified Gulick through his social media posts, including several with the words “Deus Vult” and several anti-abortion posts, according to court documents. The US Attorney’s office has not released the video.
Gulick was arrested on Saturday.
He faces up to 20 years in prison and a fine of $250,000 if convicted of the most serious charge of maliciously damaging the Planned Parenthood facility, prosecutors said.
What’s the fine and prison time for “maliciously damaging” a healthy fetus?
There is none, of course.
How many babies does this clinic abort every day? I’d reckon at least one. If this kid had successfully torched this place, the clinic would have closed for at least a few months. That’s like, at least 100 babies’ lives saved. Doesn’t that count for anything?
Isn’t there a legal precept for this?
Salvus erit enim puer se in damnationem redigentur. (For each child saved, the sentence will be reduced.)
Legal principles are always in Latin – I read that somewhere. I just made that one up though.
Anyway, my point is, if this was some antifa firebombing Republican campaign offices or Christian adoption agencies, the penalties being discussed wouldn’t be nearly this large.
It’s only when some trifling offence is committed in the service of a just cause that the law becomes merciless, and even vengeful.
