US President Joe Biden has suggested that Congress may need to pass a federal law protecting transgender rights to prevent restrictions such as those recently imposed in the state of Florida, which he called “cruel.”
“The way we do it is we make sure we pass legislation like we passed on same-sex marriage,” Biden said on Monday in a clip previewing his interview with “The Daily Show.” “You mess with that, you’re breaking the law, and you’re going to be held accountable.”
Biden didn’t specify which protections he believes the federal government should enact, though he has said in the past that transgender Americans should have “every single solitary right, including use of your gender identity bathroom in public.” Restricting such rights is legally and morally wrong, he said last fall.
The president singled out restrictions imposed in Florida, where Governor Ron DeSantis has touted a ban on sex-change surgeries and puberty blockers for children, for criticism. DeSantis, a frontrunner for the Republican Party’s 2024 presidential nomination, also championed a ban on biological boys competing in girls’ sports.
“What’s going on in Florida is, as my mother would say, ‘close to sinful,’” Biden said. “I mean, it’s just terrible what they’re doing. It’s not like, you know, a kid wakes up one morning and says, ‘You know, I decided I want to become a man or I want to become a woman. I mean, what are they thinking about here? They’re human beings, they love, they have feelings, they have inclinations… It’s cruel.”
Congress, then controlled by Democrats, passed legislation last December legalizing same-sex and interracial marriage. Same-sex marriage was already legal nationwide, reflecting a June 2015 US Supreme Court ruling that struck down all state bans and restrictions on such unions. Interracial marriage has been legal nationwide and constitutionally protected since 1967.
A Reuters/Ipsos poll released last month showed that US voters prefer DeSantis over Biden by a margin of 41%-38% in the 2024 presidential election.
It is certainly very, very interesting that Brandon is losing in these polls, and his solution is to go out there and help DeSantis by falsely claiming that he is the only governor promoting these anti-tranny laws.
I think people maybe don’t understand this dynamic, so let me try to break it down:
- Over a dozen states have the same anti-tranny laws that DeSantis has in Florida, and many of the states actually have much better laws than Florida
- The entire Jewish media and the Democrat Party continue to point to DeSantis as “the anti-child tranny guy” as if he is the only one doing this
- Republicans see the media and the Democrats pointing to DeSantis as the leader of the anti-tranny movement and assume that he must really be the most anti-tranny person ever, and they therefore want to support him
- This means that the media/Democrats are promoting DeSantis
I hope that makes sense and I hope you can understand. I’ve talked to several people, in real life and on the internet, who are incapable of understanding this, and will continue to assert that DeSantis must be the most anti-tranny person because the media keeps attacking him. Apparently, for some people, the idea that the media/Democrats would be promoting someone by attacking them is too complicated to understand (that would mean that no amount of effort could sway them, because they can’t grasp the core concept).
DeSantis is weaker than at least 14 states on every issue relating to gays and trannies. Please visit lgbtqmaps.org for the details on this. They list all of the individual policies and then create a score for each state.
On the issue of trannies, there are 14 states that have more severe regulations than DeSantis has put into place in Florida:
This same exact thing was true with DeSantis and Covid – DeSantis did the initial stay-at-home order, which seven (7) states refused to do, then he kept up more extreme policies than at least 11 states.

DeSantis’ “vaccine mandate ban” (which was not a real ban) was the same as 8 other states, and less than the real bans implemented in Tennessee and Montana.
And you go on down the list for everything where DeSantis is allegedly “exceptional,” and find that he’s done the same thing as the majority of GOP governors, and is often doing something lesser.
Just as another example, the Florida’s anti-tranny indoctrination law (labeled “Don’t Say Gay Bill”) only bans teachers from manipulating children into becoming trannies up through the 3rd grade. On the first day of 4th grade in Florida, it’s a tranny free-for-all. Meanwhile, Brian Kept banned tranny indoctrination through all of primary school in Georgia. And yet, no one is saying Georgia has a “Don’t Say Gay Bill,” and no Republicans are calling for Brian Kept to be president.
The only place where DeSantis was unique was in his attacks on Disney, and that is because Florida is the only state with Disney. Furthermore, he’s backed down on most of that anti-Disney stuff.
This whole DeSantis phenomenon is a total hoax. He is a moderate Republican, in the style of Lindsey Graham. The biggest element of promoting him as a unique figure is the focus of the Jewish media and Democrats on attacking him, and this is obviously because the Jews/Democrats want DeSantis as the nominee.
DeSantis is an okay governor, and I do agree he’s done some good things, but he is not in any way exceptional, and he would clearly be a terrible president.
Frankly, I now believe there is a good chance the Jews want DeSantis to win in 2024 so he can start a war with the Chinese. But aside from that, they know they can easily do election fraud if DeSantis wins and he will not complain about it. It’s a win-win for the Jews, and they can decide later who they want to make the president.
