A man has been arrested for allegedly kidnapping and beating a woman in a horrifying attack that was caught on a Nest camera.
The video was taken just after midnight on New Year’s Eve. It is unclear if the homeowners were home at the time or if they knew the woman.
In the video, she is seen running toward the front door, crying, then banging on it and begging for help while the car – a white Hyundai sedan – sits in the street.
A few seconds later, the driver of the car is seen running toward her, before he beats and then drags her back to the car.
Police arrested Darnell Rodgers, 23, on January 2 after receiving a tip from the public. His alleged motive remains unknown.

The woman has not been identified but a spokesman for the Las Vegas Police Department told DailyMail.com she is safe and well.
They have not shared any other details like Rodgers’ alleged motive or where the woman was found.
It remains unclear if she knew him before the incident or why the pair were in the car together.
She screamed: ‘Stop, please!’ but he threw her to the ground, kicked her in the head and yelled: ‘Why would you f****** do that!’
As he dragged her back to her feet, he continued yelling: ‘Get in the car! Get in the car, you f****** b****!!’
He forced her inside before driving away.
