FDA Clings to Shrinking Credibility, Resists Biden Order to Approve Boosters

The FDA totally surrendered to the Biden government and approved the untested Pfizer vaccine, which resulted in multiple high level employees resigning from the organization.

Now, they’re trying to pretend they still hold some form of credibility.

RT:

US regulators at the FDA say it’s too early to throw support behind Covid-19 booster shots, noting that more data is needed before the agency takes a position, even after President Joe Biden set a hard date for a booster campaign.

A Food and Drug Administration (FDA) briefing document published on Wednesday said the agency still hasn’t independently reviewed or verified the underlying data from the relevant studies on Covid-19 boosters, so it’s not prepared to take a position on whether additional doses should be allowed. The regulator noted that an advisory committee will review data from some of the studies, including the booster program in Israel, on Friday, when it considers Pfizer-BioNTech’s request to allow additional doses.

The statement came after Pfizer-BioNTech and Moderna released data that seemed to suggest that because their vaccines lose effectiveness over time, the US government should buy more to administer booster shots. Pfizer and its German partner BioNTech said a third dose of their vaccine given six months after the second jab restores protection from Covid-19 infection back up to 95%.

Yeah, these companies come out and say “bro, these vaccines don’t even work hardly at all, so we have to keep giving people more and more of them so maybe then they’ll work better.”

These are weird arguments.

The employees that quit released their own paper saying this is dumb.

Washington Examiner:

Two outgoing members of the Food and Drug Administration’s Office of Vaccines Research and Review were among the authors of an academic paper criticizing President Joe Biden’s plan for increased COVID-19 booster vaccines.

Director Marion Gruber and Deputy Director Phil Krause announced their resignations from the FDA on Aug. 31 and are set to leave this fall. Current administration sources told Politico that the pair resigned due to disagreements between the Biden administration and the agency over the efficacy of booster shots for the coronavirus vaccines.

Gruber and Krause were among 18 scientists who penned a Sept. 13 article in medical journal Lancet calling for vaccines to be dispensed to the unvaccinated rather than provided as boosters for those who have already received a full dose. Krause was listed as the primary author.

But if the shots don’t work, why give anyone the shots?

It’s all so bizarre.

Ultimately, the Democrats have full control over the fed government, and they can just fire all of these people if they want. Nothing is preventing them from doing that.
