Once again, we are confronted with data that shows that if we never would have had a test for the coronavirus, we never would have known that anything out of the ordinary was taking place with the 2019-20 flu season.
If people want to blame China for something, they should blame them for pointing out that this virus exists.
RT:
The first coronavirus case in France could have occurred a month earlier than official figures suggest, according to a professor from Avicenne Hospital, following the retesting of 24 patient blood samples.
Professor Yves Cohen from the Avicenne Hospital in Bobigny said in an interview with local media that it appears that Covid-19 was already in France at the end of 2019 – rather than in January-February 2020 – as had previously been thought. A decision was made to retest 24 samples of blood from patients who were admitted in December with respiratory infections but had tested negative for the flu. Out of the 24 samples retested, one male patient came back positive for Covid-19.
“We’ve reanalyzed all negative tests on people who were diagnosed with pneumonia. Of the 24 patients, we found one who resulted positive to Covid-19 on December 27 when he was taken to our Avicenne Hospital,” said Cohen. He confirmed that the patient in question has fully recovered and “is well.”
If the virus had not been identified, we never would have had a lockdown. We never would have had all of these deaths from other causes being attributed to the virus we didn’t know existed.
We would have had a normal flu season. Some media would note that it was a particularly bad flu season in Lombardy and New York City, but other than that, no one would have noticed anything out of the ordinary.
If there was real investigation into this virus, not colored by politics, we would likely find that it was everywhere before January, and we might even end up asking if it actually came from China at all.
But we are now very far past any hope of ever knowing the truth about this virus. It is politicized to extreme levels. The best we can hope for is seeing little bits like this story from France.
