Germany Tells People to Stop Driving to Stick It to Putin

I thought we’d already established that sanctions are not hurting Russia and they will just sell their gas to China if Europe doesn’t want it?

RT:

Every German should contribute to reducing the nation’s dependence on Russian energy, federal Vice Chancellor and Economy Minister Robert Habeck told the Funke Media Group on Friday, as he called on fellow citizens to start reducing their energy consumption, while offering several tips.

“As a rule of thumb, I would say: saving 10% is always possible,” Habeck said, urging “everyone to make a contribution to saving energy now” and announcing a government campaign. The Green politician said saving energy is not only part of the effort to “become more independent from Russian imports,” but also a “big joint project” that will help Germany in the long run.

“It will make it easier on the wallet and annoy [Russian President Vladimir] Putin,” the minister said, adding that “we will protect climate on top of that.” The list of measures suggested by the minister involves using bicycles instead of cars, and “not just on Sundays,” as well as allowing people to work from home, as it had been during the Covid-19 pandemic lockdowns.

Imagine trying to go grocery shopping in a city built for cars on a bicycle.

Grocery shopping is a hassle on a motorcycle. On a bicycle, it doesn’t even make sense. You’d have to make multiple trips.

Remember when that Jew in America told people to “stick it to Putin” by paying extra for gasoline?

At this point, these Jews could just tell the Americans that the Marvel Comics movies are actually documentaries and they have to lower their quality of life to stop Thanos.

But are Germans this stupid?

In my experience, they are much less stupid than Americans, frankly. Like, if you pointed out to a German that we never sanctioned Saudi Arabia over Yemen, despite the fact that they are killing thousands and starving children to death, a German will understand what you’re talking about.

Americans don’t know there is a war in Yemen, and if you explain it, they will say “Israel is just protecting itself” or something.
