It’s not going to matter how many guns you have if Joe Biden wins.
But I’m sure it makes people feel better.
There’s nothing like nationwide protests and a murder surge in major cities to cause a spurt of new gun sales. Gun controllers may want to rethink their 2020 strategy.
The FBI’s most recent gun-sale figures are stunning. They show that in July the bureau carried out 3.6 million background checks, the third highest month on record. Adjusting to reflect checks only for gun purchases, the National Shooting Sports Foundation (NSSF) says this translates to 1.8 million gun sales for July 2020—a 122% increase over July 2019. The 12,141,032 gun sales through this July is just shy of the 13,199,172 sales for all of 2019.
These record sales are best understood as a referendum on the riots, and the growing lack of confidence many Americans have that police will protect them. This is more than National Rifle Association spin.
Plenty of Democrats own guns, many of them the blue-collar Democrats who voted for Donald Trump in 2016 and whom Joe Biden hopes to woo back. Forty percent of first-time buyers are women. An NSSF survey of gun retailers reports that sales to black Americans are up 58.2% for the first six months of this year, the largest increase for any demographic group.
We’re running out of ammo.
People are getting ready for a situation of endless violence, like in… The Walking Dead, or whatever.
Gun stores across the First Coast and the country are experiencing an ammunition shortage right now as many people try to stock up during these uncertain times.
“The gun store was totally sold out, and they told me they’ve been sold out for some time and they don’t know when they’re getting ammunition in,” gun owner Craig Riley said.
Demand for guns and ammo has never been higher according to Firearms Sales Manager Z. Farhat at Green Acres Sporting Goods. Business, he said, is up by about 300%.
“We’re selling at an all-time pace. We have never been this busy, and I think the gun business has never been this busy,” Farhat said.
He said it’s simply a matter of supply and demand.
“We’re not getting any products, so the quantities are getting limited and there is a massive shortage on you know ammo and certain firearms,” he said.
Farhat said the pandemic, coupled with nationwide protests and it being an election year, have created the perfect storm.
“We’ve already been told from the manufacturers mostly like, it’s looking like maybe late third quarter, maybe late fall, and it could be pushed into winter or 2021 until we get a lot of the product,” he said.

If Joe Biden wins, all of your communication is going to be shut off.
They are going to make it so that you have no idea what is going on. They are going to completely ban all of the Facebook groups where gun people currently communicate with each other. The media will be totally cracked down on.
You will have no ability to know what is going on, and you will not know if other people are rising up. You will not know if there are gun raids until your house gets raided.
If you rise up, no one other than the people that can look out their window and see you rising up will know that you have risen up.
What this does is make a popular uprising impossible.
That’s all aside from the fact that I don’t think anyone has the nerve to rise up, and even if they did, they would be immediately crushed by the US military. But those two points become beside the point when you realize the first thing: that you will not know about any uprising that is happening, you will not know if guns are being confiscated.
If you had your Facebook group and the news telling you, “they’re taking people’s guns! They’re kicking in their doors and taking their guns!”, then you could organize in your community, get some kind of resistance cell running through the woods or whatever your plan is.
However, and please stay with me here: if you do not know it is happening, there is nothing you can do.
The media is already completely locked down.
They are telling you in the media now that the black and Antifa riots are done by white supremacists. Government officials are saying that.
Government officials are saying that the Antifa riots in Portland are a myth.
Think about it: if Fox News wasn’t reporting on Antifa riots in Portland, and there were no clips of the riots on social media, how would you know they were happening? You don’t live in Portland. You can’t look out your window and see them.
If some clip of the riots does get out, then the government can just say, “there was an attack by white supremacists and we shut it down.”
You need to think about how much of your reality is dependent on media and social media, then realize that within the first year of a Biden presidency, that will all be shut down.

But think about the way we report – we use reports from the wire and from social media to do our reporting. The Daily Stormer doesn’t have journalists on the ground in Portland, and we won’t ever have that.
I am going to do my best in this situation. I’m thinking a lot about it. I think we will start publishing anonymous reports about things, but you won’t be able to confirm those. We won’t be able to confirm them. And honestly, I don’t know how I will avoid the anonymous reports function being flooded with disinformation from the feds.
We have a very serious problem here, and having a bunch of guns doesn’t solve the problem.
We need better solutions than this and we need them immediately.
