Guy Who Tried to Assassinate Kavanaugh was a Goofy Retard

I don’t really care that much that someone tried to assassinate a Supreme Court judge. By my estimation, this is a rapidly declining and extremely violent country, so this sort of thing is just obviously going to happen when you are putting these levels of psychological pressure on the population.

However, I do think that attempting to assassinate one of the highest ranking members of the federal government is a much bigger deal than gunning down rando mammies spending their EBT at the local grocery.

The fact that the media is treating the attempted assassination of a judge as irrelevant while telling us that random black people getting shot is the worst tragedy in the history of mankind shows how ridiculous this has all become.

There is no semblance of seriousness here.

New York Post:

The California man who allegedly hatched an ill-fated plot to kill Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh was shy and awkward in high school — and never did anything that “stood out,” according to his best friend at the time.

Kenny Vergini said he was “absolutely floored” to learn of Nicholas John Roske’s arrest near Kavanaugh’s Maryland home on Wednesday, telling The Post it was the last thing he’d expect of his old buddy.

“He was a really nice kind, kind of on the geekier side, but when you got to know him, he was high-energy and outgoing,” Vergini said Thursday from his home in Simi Valley, California.

Roske, who graduated from Simi Valley High School in 2014 — a year behind Vergini — had left a handwritten dedication to his friend in his yearbook signed “Nick the Narc,” a nickname he earned in a drama class the two took together.

“Kenny, it was great having you in my class this year,” Roske wrote. “You are pretty much the only person I know willing to spend a class period talking to me about movies.”

“It’s a bummer I only started talking to you your senior year, but this year was great due to you. Thanks!” he added.

Vergini recalled Roske as being “a very smart kid,” who enjoyed talking about politics, philosophy and superhero movies, including “The Avengers.”

The two remained friends after Roske graduated high school and joined Vergini at nearby Moorpark College. They fell out of touch after Vergini transferred to UCLA, he said.

“He was a philosophy major and I studied political science and we would shoot ideas back and forth,” Vergini said. “He was really smart guy … But he never did anything or said anything that really stood out.”

…until now.

No, actually, this doesn’t really stand out either. Extremely violent country and so on. It just is what it is. Whatever.

The Post is trying to blame “the left” for their violent rhetoric.

I am exhausted by this “throw the narrative back at them” strategy. Firstly, it doesn’t work. Secondly, leftist narratives are stupid and you just look stupid using them.

Does all of this hysteria make people more likely to commit acts of violence? Obviously. Does that mean the people inciting the hysteria are responsible? No – not unless they’re literally going out there and saying it.

I guess it’s worth noting that Chuck Schumer openly threatened the Supreme Court, but he made unspecific and non-actionable threats.

People can only be held responsible for their own behavior. Yes, it’s irresponsible – but everything the left does in this country is irresponsible.

I would just as soon blame Marvel movies.
