Handshakegate Intensifies: Liz Told Bernie He Called Her a Liar as She Called Him a Liar

At the Tuesday night Democrat debate, Liz the Grinch refused to shake the hand of Noble Gentleman Bernie. This scandal has escalated as audio has been released of the conversation that was taking place between them when the shake was refused.

The thinking of women is so bitterly nonsensical, it is just insane that humans as a species would ever be having a discussion about potentially putting a woman in charge of a country.

Liz says Bernie said a thing he says he didn’t say. So someone is lying.

There is no reason to believe one over the other, necessarily, other than that Bernie has proven to be a lot more principled and generally honest than Liz.

But how can she whine “you called me a liar” as she is calling him a liar?

The nonaggression pact between the Democratic presidential campaign’s two leading liberals blew up on the debate stage Tuesday night, with Senator Elizabeth Warren accusing Senator Bernie Sanders after the event of calling her “a liar on national TV.”

The tense remarks represent a startling break between Ms. Warren and Mr. Sanders, who had often been united against the campaign’s leading moderates, former Vice President Joseph R. Biden Jr. and former Mayor Pete Buttigieg of South Bend, Ind.

Coming less than three weeks before the Iowa caucuses, where the four Democrats are in close competition, the rupture has the potential to anger supporters of both Ms. Warren and Mr. Sanders and inject negativity into a race in a state that often rewards positive behavior from presidential candidates.

“I think you called me a liar on national TV,” Ms. Warren told Mr. Sanders after the debate, referring to their earlier dispute onstage over whether he told her in a private 2018 meeting that a woman could not be president. The New York Times described details of their exchange on Wednesday afternoon, and CNN broadcast an audio recording on Wednesday night.

According to the audio, Mr. Sanders responded, “What?”

“I think you called me a liar on national TV,” she said again.

“You know, let’s not do it right now,” he said. “If you want to have that discussion, we’ll have that discussion.”

Ms. Warren replied, “Anytime.”

“You called me a liar,” Mr. Sanders said. “You told me — all right, let’s not do it now.”

Tom Steyer, the billionaire businessman, approached Mr. Sanders in the middle of the exchange.

“I don’t want to get in the middle,” Mr. Steyer said. “I just want to say, ‘Hi, Bernie.’”

It’s funny that in this situation, I would have done the exact same thing that Tom Steyer did.

Except after saying “Hi, Bernie,” I would have grabbed Liz Warren by the pussy.
