Again: it is impossible for any normal person to understand the implications of what is happening right now. Even I’m having a hard time processing it all, and I’m pretty good at processing deranged lunacy.
For most people, the weight of these changes will only be understood in hindsight.

The world’s third largest oil consumer, India, is considering buying Russian crude and other commodities at discounted prices using domestic currency. This comes as the US is encouraging countries to avoid trading with Russia amid the conflict in Ukraine.
“Russia is offering oil and other commodities at a heavy discount. We will be happy to take that. We have some issues like tanker insurance cover and oil blends to be resolved. Once we have that we will take the discount offer,” an Indian government official told Reuters.
Transactions will be carried out in India’s and Russia’s national currencies to evade the US dollar and related sanction policies. According to officials, work to set up a rupee-ruble trade mechanism is already underway.
On some level, the Fox News people are right – this is all geared towards putting China at the center of everything. China is the only one capable of providing a currency on par with the dollar, in terms of backing and therefore stability.
So now they’re talking about trading in local currencies, but eventually – probably pretty soon – they’re going to start trading in yuan. Probably, in the newly debuted Chinese digital yuan CBDC.
It’s possible that crypto will also be involved. I hope so.
Bitcoin does fix this.
But China is in charge now, and they’ve shown a lot of hostility towards Bitcoin, so that might be off the table in the long-term.
It really would have been impossible for the US government to hasten its own collapse on the world stage in a more efficient manner than what we’ve seen in the last month.
Without the dollar as world reserve currency, I just can’t fathom how it is possible for the US government to remain solvent.
This entire game is based on exporting debt via the world reserve system. That has been enforced by the US military, but the US military isn’t going to invade Russia, China, and India all at the same time.
The hilarious thing is that before this, India was a pretty reliable ally for the US. That entire dynamic has been totally transformed, basically overnight.

People can come up with whatever theories they want as to how Joe Biden and Kamala Harris are playing 4D chess. But the simplest and I would argue only legitimately coherent explanation for what is happening is that the US elite has become so decadent and perverse that they’ve lost their ability to perceive reality.
It would certainly not be the first time this happened.

A bloodthirsty megalomaniac, Emperor Caligula was guilty of blasphemy, incest, and state-sanctioned murder, torture, and robbery. However, interspersing the cruelty and sadism were moments of breath-taking ridiculousness- such as the occasion he made his favorite horse a consul. Such actions led the emperor’s contemporaries to question his sanity.

So, decadent, out of touch elite are nothing new.
The difference in Rome was that the military police were able to kill Caligula and install someone they liked better. But there is no such force in the West – there are only decadent elites.
