Iran Finally Actually Does Capture British Vessel – World Outraged, Allegedly

According to everything I’ve seen on TV for the last ten years or so, white people are pure and unadulterated evil, while Moslems are blessed to be the saviors of humankind.

But this all changes as soon as it’s time to talk about the evil that is the Iranian Islamic regime. In fact, it flips in reverse. In this particular case, white people are the paragons of eternal global democracy values – rivers unbound – and the Iranians are evil, backward, terroristic savages.

So naturally, the British are allowed to capture Iranian boats, but if the reverse were to happen, it would be pure evil.

RT:

The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps has seized the British oil tanker Stena Impero in the Strait of Hormuz, Iranian media reported. UK authorities said the tanker had ‘veered off course’ before capture.

The Stena Impero was headed to Saudi Arabia but left the international sea lanes and headed north towards the Iranian island of Qeshm, marine tracking data showed on Friday.

Prior to the seizure, the tanker turned off its tracking device and had ignored warnings, Iranian military sources told state media.

“The reason behind the detention of the British tanker is that it did not adhere to the sea routes in the Strait of Hormuz, turned off the automatic identification system (AIS), polluted international waters and did not pay attention to the warnings of Iran,” the source said.

The 30,000-ton tanker is owned by Stena Bulk, and was bound for the Saudi port of Al Jubail.

Stena issued a statement that the ship was “approached by unidentified small crafts and a helicopter during transit of the Strait of Hormuz, while the vessel was in international waters.”

This is obviously a tit-for-tat, following the British capture of an Iranian vessel, so I don’t really know why Iran didn’t just say it was a tit-for-tat. Maybe that stuff about them turning off their AIS is true, who knows, but when Britain captured their boat, they said they would return the favor.

And I think it would be fine for them to just say that. Obviously, not everyone is buying into this “pure evil” line that the Jewish media is pushing with regards to the country.

This is probably the moment of truth for Donald Trump. He can escalate this or deescalate this. There isn’t so much a third option. It’s too serious to just be pushed off like the drone shoot-down, where he said “ah we were gonna attack them, but then we were like, nah.”

Thus far, while Britain is threatening war, Trump has kinda implied it isn’t our problem.

CNN:

“These seizures are unacceptable. It is essential that freedom of navigation is maintained and that all ships can move safely and freely in the region,” British Foreign Secretary Jeremy Hunt said Friday.

“We are absolutely clear that if this situation is not resolved quickly, there will be serious consequences,” Hunt said. “We’re not looking at military options, we’re looking at a diplomatic way to resolve this situation. But we are very clear that it must be resolved.”

Speaking to reporters Friday, US President Donald Trump said the US does not have many tankers in the region but that the country does have a robust military presence there.

He talked some shit, but it wasn’t much.

He appears to tone things down when things get hot, saving the really outrageous statements for calm times.

The good news is, there are no Americans or Europeans on the boat. The only white people are Russians and Latvians (and I assume the Latvians are Russian).

Though the Stena Impero is registered in the UK, there were no Britons on board when it was seized. The 23-man crew was made up of Indian, Russian, Latvian and Philippines nationals, according to a statement from the ship’s owner — Sweden-based Stena Bulk — and operator, Scotland-based Northern Marine Management.

The Iranians stopped a second ship and didn’t capture it, probably because they were smart enough to figure out who the crew was, and to only capture a ship without any Westerners on it.

That was the first question I had when I saw this story, because if there were Americans or British on the boats, the media would be bringing out pictures of their families and telling stories about how they’re hostages, how this is another Iranian hostage crisis.

They have said that they’re going to hold the crew on the ship while they do an investigation. What they need to definitely do is allow them internet access, or at the very least, do regular streams of the crew, so they can’t be abused of dastardly deeds against them.

The reason that this is bigger than anything that has happened so far in the Gulf – real or staged – is that actual humans have been captured and are being held. And they pretty much have to remain in captivity for a long time. Until the incident is resolved. Because there’s no way to release them without releasing the boat.
